A creepy movie trailer has been released for The Fourth kind, an upcoming sci-fi thriller movie directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi and starring Milla Jovovich, watch it below:
Plot:
“Fact-based thriller involving an ongoing unsolved mystery in Alaska, where one town has seen an extraordinary number of unexplained disappearances during the past 40 years and there are accusations of a federal cover up.”
Alien abductions fell out of fashion a while ago, but the Fourth Kind movie may rekindle some interest in the genre.

The upcoming comedy movie Gentleman Broncos is starring Actor Michael Angarano (who played in The Forbidden Kingdom with Jackie Chan) besides Jemaine Clement and Sam Rockwell. The film is directed by Jared Hess No official release date yet.
Watch below the movie trailer of Gentlemen Broncos:
Plot:
“Benjamin (Michael Angarano), home-schooled by his eccentric mother (Jennifer Coolidge), is a loveable loner whose passion for writing leads him on an offbeat and hilarious journey as his story first gets ripped off by the legendary fantasy novelist, Ronald Chevalier (Jemaine Clement) and then is adapted into a disastrous movie by the small town’s most prolific homespun filmmaker.”
Cast:
– Michael Angarano as the teenaged aspiring fantasy writer, Benjamin Purvis
– Jemaine Clement as novelist Ronald Chevalier
– Sam Rockwell as the fictional story’s title character who appears in book-come-to-life sequences under two guises: one in the teenager’s story and the other in Chevalier’s story
– Jennifer Coolidge is portraying Benjamin Purvis’ mother
What a funny movie! I’m a sci-fi fan and I must admit that sometimes the books I read are filled with the same kind of lovely crap as depicted in the movie Gentlemen Broncos. I wish I had a flying deer that can fire missiles: what a fantastic pet it would be!

The movie trailer of Law Abiding Citizen aired on Entertainment Tonight, you may watch it here below:
LAW ABIDING CITIZEN
A man who loses everything is capable of anything.
Plot:
“An everyday guy decides to take justice into his own hands after a plea bargain sets his family’s killers free. His target: The district attorney who orchestrated the deal.”
I’m not exactly impressed by this movie trailer of Law Abiding Citizen, it’s just one more revenge movie, but I still look forward to seeing the film. It looks indeed like a solid movie and Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx are awesome actors: all in all the movie Law Abiding Citizen will probably be a hit!
:)
This other clip of District 9 shows how MNU Agent Wikus van der Merwe (Sharlto Copley), through playing around with an alien device, contracts the mysterious virus that will transform him into an hybrid: Continue reading »
A reader just told us that the full version of the second New moon trailer has leaked online (but it’s in French with subs, but hey, it shows that Twilight’s fandom knows no frontier, France love Stephenie Meyer’s work too!) via youtube:
Update: the English version of this New Moon trailer has also leaked online by now via the German site MyVideo:
The wolf pack is like on steroid! They’re huge! This second trailer of Twilight New Moon look so much better than what we have for the first opus of the Twilight Saga. There is no denying that Director Chris Weitz was really committed to make Twilight 2 a success!
:)
The young and handsome Zac Efron got the lead role in the movie Me and Orson Welles, an upcoming period drama movie directed by Richard Linklater. Watch below the first official movie trailer of Me and Orson Welles:
Plot:
“Set in 1937 New York, the story centers on a high school student (Efron) who happens upon the yet-to-open Mercury Theatre and is noticed by its mercurial founder, Orson Welles. The man lands a part in ‘Julius Caesar’, the production that catapulted Welles to the top, and spends the next week learning about life and love!”
I love the music of this trailer of Me and Orson Welles!

The new TV series V, reboot the 1980s series of the same name, was set to premiere in 2010. But the cast and creators of ABC’s upcoming V announced Saturday that the show would premiere Tuesday, November 3, 2009!
And if you wondering if this new breed of visitors will eat vivid rodents and insects in sushi: the answer is yes! Executive producer Jeffrey Bell confirmed indeed that actress Morena Baccarin, who plays the alien leader Anna, will indeed eat a rodent of some kind.
The MNU agent played by Sharlto Copley has to face a gang in this new red band clip of District 9, the upcoming sci-fi movie directed by Neill Blomkamp:
I suspect Director Katherine Dieckmann to have a secret agenda with Motherhood, her latest comedy movie starring Uma Thurman: she wants to curb our national birth rate! Just watch the movie trailer of Motherhood below to better understand what I mean:
MOTHERHOOD
For every woman who’s ever dreamed of being a mother:
It’s time to wake up to reality!
Plot:
“In Manhattan, a mother of two preparing for her daughter’s sixth birthday party has no idea of the challenges she’s about to face in order to pull off the event.”
‘Motherhood is about accepting things you cannot control’, not sure that my wife who’s a real control freak (don’t tell her please!) would agree with that…
;-P
Case 39 Clip
Emily (Renée Zellweger) is worried about Lillith (Jodelle Ferland) so she races to their house and finds her locked in the stove.
Plot:
“A social worker (Zellweger) fights to save a girl from her abusive parents, only to discover that the situation is more dangerous than she ever expected.”
This family is seriously broken: the Case 39 won’t be a sinecure for Renee Zellweger!
;-P
The freak Michael Meyers is back in town on August 28th… Safe to watch in theaters, but maybe should avoid to go back home after… Who knows… the evil Mike Meyers from Halloween 2 could be waiting for you over there…
;-P
Plot:
“An origin story set in futuristic Metro City, Astro Boy (Freddie Highmore) is about a young robot with incredible powers created by a brilliant scientist in the image of the son he has lost. Unable to fullfill the grieving man’s expectations, our hero embarks on a journey in search of acceptance, experiencing betrayal and a netherworld of robot gladiators, before he returns to save Metro City and reconcile with the father (Nicolas Cage) who had rejected him.”
I have the impression Imagi Studios have been somewhat inspired by the the work of Japanese filmmaker Hayao Myazaki. I really like that: it gives a perspective that suits to Astro Boy.
