There’s a new Logan’s Run movie ahead of us. Warner Bros has indeed hired Carl Rinsch to direct a remake of the cult 1976 sci-fi film. There’s no release date yet.

According to Producer Joel Silver the film is likely to be in 3D:

“I’d like to make Logan’s Run in 3D. It’s a movie I’ve always been intrigued with, excited by. We’re writing a script now and that should be a big 3D movie and it should be devised and shot in 3D. I think if we can pull it together, then it would be.”

I’m a bit disappointed by this Gulliver’s Travels trailer… Either the trailer doesn’t show much, or the movie is just bland… Well’ the next movie trailer of Gulliver’s Travels will give us a better idea of what to expect from the film…

Update – Director Sxv’leithan Essex died in June 2013 in Los Angeles, California, USA. So I guess the film will never be released. :(

Director Sxv’leithan Essex is working on Growl, an upcoming action horror movie combining Mixed Martial Arts and werewolves (admit it, you didn’t see this stuff coming!). The film is starring Katee Sackhoff (Starbuck from BSG!), Josh Kelly, Paul Bean and Kiefer Sutherland. Take a look to the first official pictures of Growl:
