The logo of Twilight Eclipse, the third movie of the Twilight Saga, has been revealed by Summit Entertainment, here it is:

“As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella (Kristen Stewart) once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward (Robert Pattinson) and her friendship with Jacob (Taylor Lautner) — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death.”

This new Twilight movie won’t be directed by Chris Weitz (who’s still busy working on New Moon, and who’s likely to helm Breaking Dawn), but will be helmed by David Slade.

The cast of Twilight Eclipse will include: Kristen Stewart as Bella, Robert Pattinson as Edward, Taylor Lautner as Jacob, and also Ashley Greene, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, Jackson Rathbone, Bronson Pelletier, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon, Billy Burke, Chaske Spencer, Edi Gathegi, and Kirsten Prout.

Director Sylvain White is tackling the movie adaptation of The Losers, the comic book published by the Vertigo imprint of DC Comics. The film is starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Idris Elba, Chris Evans, Óscar Jaenada, Columbus Short, Zoe Saldana, Jason Patric and Holt McCallany.

I don’t know much about the Losers, but if I hope there will be enough screen time for Zoe Saldana in the role of Aisha: she’s so cute, I was a bit disappointed by her limited role in Star Trek…

Anyway, the Losers movie is scheduled for a release on April 9, 2010.

Some update about Mad Max 4: looks like Director George Miller isn’t satisfied with just an animated movie for Mad Max 4, instead he’s gonna film a live-action Mad Max 4 movie in Australia. He’s been boasting about a $100 million budget, and that’s quite huge knowing that no studio is backing the project yet! The main actor who’s going to replace Mel Gibson hasn’t been announced yet, but pre-poduction is well under way ofr Mad Max 4. George Miller was even showing off the cars they’re going to use:

Last month we saw pictures of Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, who are teaming up in the Other Guys movie. Well, now we also have pictures of Dwayne Johnson The Rock and Samuel L Jackson:

The Other Guys is directed by Adam McKay and will be released in Summer 2010.

Rainmaker Animation is working on a movie adaptation of ReBoot, the classic CGI animated series. Actually they’re even planning a trilogy. Here below the first official teaser trailer of ReBoot the movie:

I used to watch the original animated TV series: the first season was rather ugly, but the story was great. So I’m quite glad to hear about this Reboot movie: with the latest technologies, it’s going to be a marvelous movie! Actually, if they do it right, they could even eclipse Tron 2!

The boxer Rocky Balboa came out of retirement in Rocky 6, and it seems he doesn’t want go back to his peaceful life as restaurant owner. Sylvester Stallone told indeed that he would like to make Rocky 7! Legends never die, but time is catching up with Sylvester Stallone… I know he is still fit, but I’m not sure that over-extending the Rocky franchise is for the best…

Will Rocky Balboa go sci-fi and use some rejuvenation process based on stem cells so he could compete again? Or is he just going to train a young heir?

I’m not much interested in watching Rocky 7, but I must admit I’m curious how it’s gonna turn out!
