He learns that something with brute strength and insatiable bloodlust has been killing the villagers, and that a suspicious Scotland Yard inspector named Aberline (Hugo Weaving) has come to investigate.

As he pieces together the gory puzzle, he hears of an ancient curse that turns the afflicted into werewolves when the moon is full. Now, if he has any chance at ending the slaughter and protecting the woman he has grown to love, Talbot must destroy the vicious creature in the woods surrounding Blackmoor. But as he hunts for the nightmarish beast, a simple man with a tortured past will uncover a primal side to himself…one he never imagined existed.”

The movie Wolfman is directed by Joe Johnston and is starring Benicio del Toro, Anthony Hopkins, Emily Blunt, Hugo Weaving, and Geraldine Chaplin. The film is scheduled for a release on February 12, 2010.

Muay Thai expert Tony Jaa is working on a third installment of the successful Ong Bak franchise. Tony is both acting and directing, as he did in the previous Ong Bak sequel.

ONG BAK 3

Ong Bak 3 is said to be a direct sequel to the second movie, so it should follow the story and period setting of Ong Bak 2. Currently they’re shooting in Thailand, and Sahamongkol Film expects to release Ong Bak 3 in December 2009 in their home country.

Plot:
“The legend of Ong Bak 3 begins after Tien (Tony Jaa) has lost his fighting skills and his beloved step-father at the Garuda’s Wing cliff from the raid led by Jom Rachan (Saranyu Wonggrajang). Tien is brought back to life with the help from Pim (Primrata Dechudom) as well as Mhen (Petchai Wongkamlao) and the Kana Khone villagers. Deep into the meditation taught by Phra Bua (Nirutti Sirijanya), Tien finally is able to achieve ‘Nathayut’. His talents are put to the test again when his rivals including the Golden-Armored King’s Guard (Supakorn ‘Tok’ Kijusuwan), the mysterious killers in black, and Bhuti Sangkha (Dan Chupong) return for the final massive showdown.”

David Duchovny has been talking about the possible plot of the X-Files 3:

“As far as the X-Files movie I’d like to do next, if we get a chance to do it, would be a return to the heart and soul of the mythology, which is the alien-oriented conspiracy. I think it’s natural for The X-Files to have another movie in 2012, so we’ll see if we get to do it.”

So he’s confirming what Director and Scriptwriter Frank Spotnitz said. So yes we can be confident that the aliens and the conspiracy will be the central theme of the movie X-Files 3. And I think they’re going to release it in 2012 so to stick to the series mythology. All in all, that’s good news!
