THE SMURFS

Say hello to our little friend!

Plot:
“The adventures of a mythical race of little blue creatures in medieval times that must deal with each other and humans, particularly an evil wizard obsessed with capturing them for his own sinister purposes.”

I feel like I want to giggle every time I see a Smurf. I’ll be happy to go watch Gargamel and his pet cat Azrael chasing the poor Smurfs on Christmas 2010.

Bad Boys 3 Movie

Bad Boys 3 MovieLooks like there will be a Bad Boys 3 movie. Sony Pictures has indeed hired Peter Craig (that’s the same guy who’s writing the script of Cowboy Bebop) to pen the screenplay of a new Bad Boy movie. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are likely to reprise their roles as Miami detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett. And Director Michael Bay may come back to helm the third opus of a movie series that really kick-started his blockbuster career.

“We need ‘Bad Boys 3.’ I was just watching ‘Bad Boys 2’ with my son and I told him you can’t open a movie better. That’s the best movie opening ever!”

Will Smith

More details at: Bad Boys 3 Movie Trailer

But nothing is set in stone yet, so even if all the stakeholders would like to see the original Bad Boys crew to be back for the movie Bad Boys 3, don’t take for granted that they will be back. Bad Boys 3 doesn’t really need Michael Bay, but it wouldn’t be a Bad Boys movie without Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.

Personal request to Peter Craig: I’d like to see some hint to Obama in Bad Boys 3!

Anyway, hope we’ll get more details about Bad Boys 3 soon!

Rambo 5 Movie

Great News today: Rambo 5 has been confirmed by Nu Image/Millennium Films. Sylvester Stallone will starring (of course!) and directing (he did a great job with Rambo 4) this new Rambo movie. And we even have the first synopsis of Rambo 5:

Sylvester Stallone Rambo 5

Rambo 5 Plot:
“Rambo 5 revolves around Rambo fighting his way through human traffickers and drug lords to rescue a young girl abducted near the U.S.-Mexico border.”

Don’t expect Rambo 5 to a bloodbath like in the previous film: Sylvester Stallone said not so long ago that they would tame it down a bit so to reach a larger public. Well as long as they keep it Rambo-esque I don’t mind.

Production will start in early 2010. Can’t wait for the movie Rambo 5!

Freedom

Passion

Ambition

Power

Plot synopsis:
“A historical drama set in Roman Egypt, concerning a slave who turns to the rising tide of Christianity in the hope of pursuing freedom while falling in love with his mistress, the famous philosophy and mathematics professor Hypatia of Alexandria.”

Rachel Weisz makes a lovely Hypatia. If they were more people like Hypatia at that time, people understanding the higher value of knowledge over religion and superstition, our civilization would not have regressed into the Middle Age.

Zombieland Clip

In the movie Zombieland, Jesse Eisenberg does have the survival of our species at heart (think “make babies”). This new preview clip of Zombieland indicates indeed that he’s thinking about repopulating Earth later on:

Men who stare at goats Movie Poster

I wonder if PETA is going to protest against this movie… Revealing such a secret to people could threat the life of many animals! I know I’m gonna stare at my neighbor’s dog because that pooch is always barking like hell!

Rachel Weisz Agora

Director Alejandro Amenabar wants to bring us back to Ancient times in Roman Alexandria. Descent 2 Movie Trailer

Descent 2 MovieThe first official movie trailer of The Descent 2 has been released online, you may watch it below:

THE DESCENT: Part 2

Plot:
“The sequel will continue the story of Sarah who, as the only known survivor of an all-female caving expedition gone horrifically wrong, suffers severe psychological trauma. She accompanies a rescue team back to the cave but events once again take a sinister turn.
The Descent Part 2 picks up immediately after the events depicted in The Descent. Sarah (Shauna Macdonald) emerges alone from a cave system following an expedition with her five friends in the Appalachian mountains. Distraught, injured and covered in the blood of her missing companions, Sarah is incoherent and half-wild with fear. Skeptical about her account of events and convinced Sarah’s psychosis hides far darker secrets, Sheriff Vaines forces her back into the caves to help locate the rest of the group. Trapped by falling rocks, the rescue party is driven deep into the caverns, and as one by one the fate of the missing girls is revealed. Sarah struggles to stay alive and once again encounters the evil in the deep.”

The world down under our feet is as alien as space indeed. Who knows what monsters are hiding below! I would never go back down there like that girl does in the Descent 2!
