Comic Book Author Mark Millar (the guy who created Wanted, Kick-Ass) gave an interview to Sci-Fi Wire (here). And he’s been quite talkative, revealing that they’re already planning a movie Sequel to Kick-Ass:
“Wanted made $350 million. So that was the thing that opened the doors. I didn’t expect that. For some reason I just assumed, “Oh, yeah, this will come out and do OK. If I get another movie at some point, wonderful.” But what happened very quickly was that several of the titles got picked up to be made into movies. Kick-Ass. War Heroes. I’m doing American Jesus. Kick-Ass 2 is already being plotted out. We’re planning it, because all the actors are quite young and we have to make it relatively quickly. So we’ll definitely do that inside the next 18 to 24 months.”
Mark Millar
The first Kick-Ass movie, directed by Matthew Vaughn, is not even released yet! It shows how confident to that their movie is going to blow us away!
Just in case you don’t know much about Kick-Ass: Dave Lizewski is an unnoticed high school student and comic book fan who one day decides to become a super-hero under the nickname of Kick-Ass, even though he has no powers, training or meaningful reason to do so.
I can understand there is plenty to develop with such a premise. But let’s see how the first Kick-Ass movie will turn out before anticipating the movie sequel Kick-Ass 2.

The movie Iron man 2 is likely to have more than one villain. But you’ll recognize ex-con Ivan Vanko aka Whiplash (played by Mickey Rourke) right away, he’s got his own style:
Whiplash makes his first appearance at the Monaco Historic Grand Prix.
This suppervillain definitely got a thing for tattoos!
Whiplash has his own twisted version of the Iron Man suit. By the way, we may see on the picture the two deadly electric whips that give Whiplash that name.
There is obviously a reason to why Whiplash suit looks like Iron Man’s. And Director Jon Favreau has been hinting at this similarity between the technology used in Iron Man’s armor and Whiplash’s:
“The technologies are definitely related, and that’s part of the core theme of the film”
Jon Favreau
I guess Ivan Vanko did not build his suit alone.. I guess he must have been helped by Stark Industries’ rival Justin Hammer (played by Sam Rockwell)…

The squirrel Scrat is going to meet a mate in Ice Age 3 Dawn of the Dinosaurs, the latest opus of Ice Age. Her name is Scratte. She is a female saber-tooth squirrel a lot more intelligent than Scrat but Love could blossom between them. But there is still an acorn of contention:
The handsome actor Jared Leto got the lead role as Nemo in Mr Nobody, an upcoming sci-fi movie written and directed by Jaco van Dormael.
Talking about his role as the mysterious Nemo, Jared Leto said:
“It’s an internal journey. I actually play 12 different versions of one life. There are 12 different characters. Some you only see for one scene. One of the characters, you just see in the background.”
Plot:
“In the year 2092, a time when Mars is a vacation spot, Nemo Nobody is a 120-year-old man who is the last mortal among humans who have become immortal due to scientific advances. When Nemo is on his deathbed, he reviews the three possible existences and marriages he might have experienced.”
I love the feel of those pictures from the movie Mr Nobody. I wish I had a good camera and had the skills to make pictures as good as those!

This new Transformers 2 movie poster makes me want to buy some Transformers action figures:
(Click on the poster to enlarge it.)
Hell yeah, I’d play like a kid with my Transformers Toy! The giant robots Bumblebee and Optimus Prime look awesome on this poster of Transformer Revenge of the Fallen.
On a side-note: I’d be glad to have some fun time with sexy Megan Fox (who plays the role of Mickaela) too, and I don’t think we’d play kids game… but don’t tell to my wife!

Director David R. Ellis and Scriptwriter Eric Bress are back for a fourth opus of the Final Destination movie series. This fourth movie, titled The Final Destination, is scheduled to be released in August 2009. Actor Bobby Campo got the lead role as Nick O’Bannon, the unfortunate dude who thinks that he can cheat Death.
Plot:
“On what should have been a “typical day at the races” for McKinley Speedway, Nick O’Bannon (Bobby Campo) has a grisly premonition of a race car fatally crashing and sending debris into the stands, gruesomely killing his friends, and causing an overhang to collapse on him. He awakens, not being able to shake the feeling of how real his vision appeared, he panics, and just in time, persuades the group of teenagers to leave the bleachers. Immediately afterward objects begin to fly into the public as his frightening dream turns into a tragic reality. Unfortunately for Nick, alongside his girlfriend Lori (Shantel VanSanten) and her best friend Janet (Haley Webb), this is only the beginning. As the survivors begin to die one-by-one in even more terrifying ways than they had originally, Nick must figure out how to cheat Death once and for all before he too reaches his final destination.”
Final Destination 4 will be in 3D: that’s one more dimension for us to better understand how the Grim Reaper does its job!

I wouldn’t dare to bug Taylor Lautner who plays the role of Jacob Black the werewolf: he’s just a teenager but he could knock me out with just a blow! He really worked a lot to keep his role in the movie Twilight 2 aka New Moon, impressive!
