Plot:

Camp X-Ray Movie starring Kristen Stewart

Actress kristen Stewart (who played the role of Bella in the Twilight movie franchise) got the lead role in Camp X-Ray, an upcoming drama movie written and directed by Peter Sattler. Here’s a first official look at the actress as a soldier int he film:

Plot:
“A young soldier (Kristen Stewart) escapes her suffocating small town by joining the military, only to find that she isn’t going for a tour of duty in Iraq as she hoped. Instead, she’s sent to Guantanamo. Met with hatred and abuse from the Muslim men in her charge, she forges an odd friendship with a young man who has been imprisoned at Gitmo for eight years.”

Babadook Movie

The Babadook is an upcoming dram horror thriller movie written and directed by Australian Filmmaker Jennifer Kent. and starring Essie Davis, Hayley McElhinney, Daniel Hanshall, and Noah Wiseman. Here’s a first official look at The Babadook:

Plot:
“Six years after the death of her husband, Amelia (Essie Davis) struggles to discipline her ‘out-of-control’ six-year-old Samuel (Noah Wiseman) – a son she finds difficult to love. Samuel’s dreams are plagued by a monster he believes is coming to kill them both. When a disturbing storybook called ‘The Babadook’ turns up at their house, Samuel is convinced that the Babadook is the creature he’s been dreaming about. And when Amelia begins to see glimpses of the creature herself, it slowly dawns on her that the thing Samuel has been warning her about may well be real.”

There’s no official release date yet, but the film was screened at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival and it received much praise. So we may expect a movie studio to pick the rights quite soon.

A first official look at Laggies, the upcoming drama comedy movie directed by Lynn Shelton based on a script by Andrea Seigel:

So Keira Knightley and Chloë Grace Moretz are going to be best friends forever? What about Sam Rockwell’s role in the whole thing?

Captain America 2 The Winter Soldier – Falcon and Captain America

This new official picture of Captain America 2 The Winter soldier features Cpatain America (playe y Chris Evans) and Falcon (played by Anthony Mackie):

If those two team up it will kind of feel like the Lethal Weapon movie franchise but with superpowers! Hell yeah!

Child 44 Movie starring Tom Hardy

We’ve got our hands on official pictures of Child 44, the upcoming thriller drama movie directed by Daniel Espinosa that’s set in Soviet Russia:

Plot:
“The film revolves around the state security agent Leo Stepanovich Demidov (Tom Hardy), a war hero, and true believer in the communist state despite its hypocrisy and brutality in the final days of Stalin’s rule. In 1953, Leo is dispatched to investigate a series of child murders — a case that begins to connect with the very top of party leadership. His increasing determination to find the killer leads him to reclaim his humanity from an oppressive regime.”

The cast includes Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace, Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman and Vincent Cassel. The film is based on the novel of the same name by by British writer Tom Rob Smith.

The film should hit theaters sometime in 2014.

Michael Douglas Ant-Man

Marvel confirmed that Actor Michael Douglas (who played the role of Gordon Gekko in Wall Street) is joining the cast of the upcoming live-action movie adaptation of Ant-Man! He will play the role of Hank Pym the creator of the Ant-Man suit. A few words from Marvel’s Kevin Feige:

The film is directed by Edgar Wright. Actor Paul Rudd got the lead role as Scott Lang, a burglar who stole Hank Pym’s suit and who for some reason accepts to become the new Ant-Man.

Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike, in a picture of Gone Girl, are gracing the cover of the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly:

Paul Rudd Ant-Man

Actor Paul Rudd (who’s primarily known for his roles in comedy movies) is set to have the lead role in Ant-Man, the upcoming live-action superhero movie directed by Edgar Wright.

But that doesn’t mean he will play the role of Hank Pym, the creator of the Ant-Man suit. Nope, according to the online rumor (fueled by a picture posted by Edgar Wright) it sounds like he’s going to play the role of Scott Lang. For those who haven’t heard about Scott Lang, he’s a burglar who stole Hank Pym’s suit, but who finally joins the good side of the force and becomes the new Ant-Man with Hank Pym’s approval.

Who are they going to cast as Hank Pym then?
