Robert Pattinson Breaking Dawn

Twilight 4 MovieActor Robert Pattinson, who plays the role of the vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight Saga, talked about Breaking Dawn aka Twilight 4 which will be directed by Bill Condon:

Breaking Dawn Trailer

“I’m glad that it’s Bill Condon. I love his stuff. I haven’t seen the script yet but I am fearful about the series’ end. It’s such a great security blanket. It’s like a net. You can afford to make mistakes when you have another Twilight film to make. After that, I guess you’re on your own.
[…]
I’m playing a dad in some scenes in Breaking Dawn and I’m portraying one in a movie I’m doing now as well. I’m terrified about doing it. I don’t know what I’m going to do when it comes to those scenes. I’ve been complaining so much about having the makeup on and contact lenses.”

Actor Robert Pattinson

Yep, that’s right: Robert Pattinson is going to be father in the movie Twilight Breaking Dawn. His wife Bella (Kristen Stewart) will give birth to Renesmee, a really special baby girl.

She looks cute in her costume, but she looks better dressed as the zombie slayer Alice!

Spider-Man Movie

Spiderman 4 Trailer

“Spider-Man is a classic superhero — a young man who balances his responsibility to serve humanity and crush evil with the shyness and normalcy of someone struggling to find himself. The role demands an extraordinary actor. You need someone who can magically transform himself from Peter Parker into Spider-Man. An actor who will depict the vulnerability of youth and the strength and confidence of a legendary figure at the same moment. We have found that actor in Andrew Garfield. From the first time we saw him in the upcoming film The Social Network, to his glorious screen test, which floored all of us, we knew that we had found our new Peter Parker.”

Matt Tolmach, President of Columbia Pictures

“Though his name may be new to many, those who know this young actor’s work understand his extraordinary talents. He has a rare combination of intelligence, wit, and humanity. Mark my words, you will love Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker.”

Director Marc Webb

I did like Andrew Garfield’s performance in the movie Boy A. I’m a bit sad that Tobey Maguire won’t reprise his role, but I’m confident that Andrew Garfield will be great in the new Spiderman movie.

Tom Hardy Mad Max Fury Road

Mad Max 4 Fury Road MovieMel Gibson won’t reprise his role in Mad Max 4, aka Mad Max Road Fury. Actor Tom Hardy is taking over the role of Max Rockatansky:

Mad Max 4 Trailer

“[Mad Max Fury Road] is a relaunch and revisit to the world, an entire restructuring. That’s not to say that it’s not picking up or leaving off from the Mad Max you know already, but it’s a nice re-take on the entire world using the same character, depositing him in the same world, but bringing him up to date by 30 years. Obviously Mel would’ve been perfect for it but, for some reason, he’s not doing it and I am. You can expect the same amount of grit and rawness and authenticity to my performance, I hope to deliver. But that’s really the crux of me and George to deliver that and all the other actors as the other characters.”

Actor Tom Hardy

Tom Hardy is now heading to Australia where he will train to look the part and prepare for shooting.

The movie Mad Max Fury 4 Road will probably be released in 2012.

Winnie the Pooh MovieDirectors Stephen J. Anderson and Don Hall. Burny Mattinson are working on a new Winnie The Pooh movie. Walt Disney Pictures intend to released the film on July 15, 2011.
Don’t expect any CGI, it’s going to be indeed a traditional hand-drawn animated movie.

Winnie The Pooh Trailer

Plot:
“The film will revolve around Winnie The Pooh himself, although there will be a sequence in which Eeyore loses his tail and his friends try various replacements, including a cuckoo clock.”

I’ve never been fan of Winnie the Pooh, but that honey-addicted bear is definitely part of my childhood. So, I think I’ll go watch this Winnie The Pooh movie just out of nostalgia!

Akira Movie

Akira The MovieWe’ve heard about a live action movie adaptation of Akira since quite a while, but the project was in development limbo. Well there’s reason to hope again: Warner Bros has hired the Hughes Brothers (who once brought us the Book of Eli) to helm the project. And Screenwriter Albert Torres is working on a new script. So hopefully, we’ll get to watch the movie Akira in a not too distant future.

Akira Movie

Plot:
“The story is set in a neon-lit futuristic post-nuclear war ‘Neo-Manhattan’ where a teen biker gang member is subjected to a government experiment which unleashes his latent powers.”

On one hand I’m sad they they still haven’t released this live-action movie adaptation of Akira, but on the other hand they better take time to do it right, don’t want to the movie Akira to be a let down!
