The movie plot of Xerxes, the prequel to 300, has been revealed by Director Zack Snyder:
“This movie follows Themistocles and the Battle of Artemisium, which coincidentally happens on the exact same three days as the Battle of Thermopylae. This one starts off with a quick retelling of the why of the Persian wars. It starts off at the Battle of Marathon and then it goes back to Themistocles finding out that Persians are invading again. and off we go over to learn a little bit about why Xerxes is the way he is.”

A first look at Actress Michelle Rodriguez in the movie Battle Los Angeles, the upcoming science-fiction movie directed by Jonathan Liebesman:

Director Troy Nixey is working on a remake of Don’t be afraid of the Dark (a 1973 Gothic horror ABC TV movie). Guillermo del Toro contributed to the script of this new Don’t be afraid of the Dark movie. The film is starring Katie Holmes, Guy Pearce, and Bailee Madison. It will be released on January 21, 2011.

Don’t know what Katie Holmes is looking at, but that painting behind her is creepy enough to get scared… I would not stay in a house with such paintings around… The devil is lurking for sure!

Nicolas Cage got the lead role in Hungry Rabbit Jumps, an upcoming drama thriller movie directed by Roger Donaldson (who once brought us the Bank Job) . The film is based on a script by Robert Tannen. Besides Nicolas Cage, the cast also includes January Jones, Guy Pearce, Harold Perrineau, and Jennifer Carpenter.
Here’s a first look at Nicolas Cage and January Jones as husband and wife in the movie Hungry Rabbit Jumps:
“The story takes place in New Orleans and follows a man (Nicolas Cage) desperate for vengeance after his wife (January Jones) is the victim of a brutal crime. In his effort to achieve retribution, he gets tangled up with an underground vigilante group.”
Hungry Rabbit Jumps could be a great movie if Nicolas Cage can manage to deliver the same kind of performance as in Bad Lieutenant.

Director Breck Eisner is confident that his remake of Flash Gordon movie will be much better than the 1980s version, and hope that the film will start a new franchise:
“Our version of Flash Gordon goes back to strips from ’30s and we will update those and shoot the movie as if the strips were drawn today. It will be an action and adventure sci-fi. In fact, there is nothing in the ’80s version that can be used in this new project if it’s not in the comics.

It’ll be a franchise for sure. It will be a standalone story, it definitely won’t left open for more, but the ultimate goal is to turn it into a franchise. It will be an origins story for Flash. He’s going to Mongo, he’s gonna save the planet and it will have a superhero buy in and will be unique. It is very much a superhero origins story.”

Twilight Breaking Dawn Birth Scene

If you read the books of the twilight Saga you already know that Bella and Edward will have a baby in Twilight 4, aka Breaking Dawn. The birth scene is really intense, and Twilight fans really don’t want that scene to be scrapped. Well, Summit Entertainment heard them, here’s what Producer Wyck Godfrey said:
“My wife is an OB-GYN so we should bring her on set to make sure that if Edward is going to do an oral Cesarean, he really needs to make the proper incision with his teeth.

I think the one thing that we’ve done that we’ve really done in all the films is keep them very subjective and keep them from Bella’s point of view. So the conversations we’ve had with Bill, is that we’ll try to do something similar here; you’re with Bella’s perspective and her point of view of what’s taking place in the rush around her, as she’s in intense pain. Not so focused, objectively, on her body and his body and that. So I think it’ll be something like that, in terms of trying to make the audience experience and feel the confusion, almost, of what’s happening to her.”
