There’s a spinoff of “The Conjuring 2” ahead of us. Valak, the demonic nun pictured above, is indeed going to have her own movie! The film will be an origin story and will show a nun turned into that evil demon. Filmmaker Corin Hardy who helmed The Hallow has been hired to direct the project based on a script written by Gary Dauberman and James Wan.

“A nun who thinks the orphans under her care are becoming prey to an evil entity…”

You know there’s a psychological name for the fear of nuns: it’s called sphenisciphobia. Well, since I saw The Conjuring 2 I think I do suffer from sphenisciphobia. And Ttis spin-off sure will make it even worse. But well, do bring it on, lol!
