There’s a first official picture for The Conjuring 2 The Enfield Poltergeist, the upcoming horror movie sequel directed by James Wan based on a script by Chad and Carey Hayes:

Plot synopsis:
“The sequel to The Conjuring will focus on the Enfield poltergeist, Britain’s most famous poltergeist.”

With so many Christian crosses on the wall you’d expect evil ghosts to stay away from the room… but look at that mess… well I guess evil forces don’t care much about Jesus, lol!

The film will open in theaters on June 10, 2016.

Plot synopsis:

They’re looking for patient zero, all right, but maybe they should also dig into why Morgan is asymptomatic, it could lead to a cure too.

Anyway, sign me up for this new zombie movie!

There’s a fourth Men in Black movie in development, yet you may get ready for Men in Black 4. Nothing about the film has been revealed yet though. All we know is that one of the main characters of the fourth installment will be a woman:

There will be a prominent woman in black in the fourth film.

Co-Producer Walter Parkes also hinted that Actor Will Smith will likely reprise his role as Agent J.

They also said that they want to reinvent the franchise. So I guess they will explore new concepts beyond the main alien-border-control theme. But does that mean it could be a reboot with the franchise actually focusing on this new female agent rather than on Agent J?

Jason, the Red Ranger (Dacre Montgomery) was a football legend in his small town of Angel Grove until one fateful mistake. When we first meet Jason, he is in need of redemption and is struggling to find himself. But soon he is given a chance to lead a new team made up of an unlikely group of teenage superheroes and must find it in himself to rise to the challenge.

Trini, the Yellow Ranger (Becky G.) is mysterious but extremely bright. Her parents constantly move for work, making her the perpetual new girl to any school. Zack, the Black Ranger (Ludi Lin) is filled with bravado and swagger. He is tough and cool on the exterior but has many layers beyond his fearless appearance. Zack advertises everything about himself, except the truth, which makes him feel deeply inferior to all his peers.

Billy, the Blue Ranger (R.J. Cyler) has always been challenged in his abilities to communicate and interact socially. Whip-smart and sweet, he is the most pure-hearted of the group. Billy has never really had any friends, so finding teenagers that he is comfortable with is a big deal, and soon he begins connecting with people in a way he’s never been able to do before.

Plot synopsis:
“Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. Pitch Perfect 2, the recent sequel to Pitch Perfect, performed quite well in theaters. It made $287 million worldwide, doubling the first film’s total, for a $29 million production budget. So there’s no wondering that they’re already planning another installment in the girly franchise. So yep get ready for Pitch Perfect 3!

Actress/Director Elizabeth Banks will return to helm the film, Scriptwriter Kay Cannon is also back. And so will Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, and Hailee Steinfeld.

We’ve been sent the first official picture of Besties, the upcoming comedy movie written and directed by Kelly Fremon and starring Hailee Steinfeld:

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly we may take a look to the first official pictures of Doctor Strange, the upcoming live-action superhero movie adaptation directed by Scott Derrickson and starring Benedict Cumberbatch in the title role:

Plot synopsis:
“After his career is destroyed, a brilliant but arrogant surgeon (Benedict Cumberbatch) gets a new lease on life when a sorcerer takes him under his wing and trains him to defend the world against evil.”

Well, Actor Benedict Cumberbatch totally looks the part as Doctor Strange! Let’s hope he will stick to this Marvel character and will never reprise the role of Khan in the Star Trek franchise, lol.

We also learned that Actor Mads Mikkelsen is playing the film’s villain who’s described as a sorcerer who breaks off into his own sect.

The movie Doctor Strange is set to hit theaters on November 4, 2016.

Hard to recognize Actor Sam Neil on this picture… I thought it was Actor Christopher Lee (who portayed evil wizard Saruman in the Lord of the Rings movie franchise), lol.

The director and cast of ‘Hunt for the Wilderpeople’ joke about the treachery they went through while shooting the film, comparing it to the conditions of the shoot. “We’re out in the elements, it was cold, borderline illegal having a twelve-year-old in those elements for so long,” jokes director Taika Waititi of shooting ‘Hunt for the Wilderpeople

We’ve got our hands on the first official pictures of Manchester by the Sea, the upcoming drama movie written and directed by Kenneth Logan and starring Casey Affleck, Michelle Williams, Lucas Hedges, and Kyle Chandler:

Casey Affleck is quite talented actor and am curious to see the film.

By the way if like me you don’t know where is Manchester-By-the-Sea, well, it’s a small coastal town in Essex County, Massachusetts (At the 2010 census, the town population was 5,136).

The film will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival but has yet to get an official release date.
