Director J.J. Abrams has done a hell of a job with Star Trek!
This new Star Trek is a chronicle of the early days of James T. Kirk and his fellow USS Enterprise crew members. But there is a twist: the Romulan Nero (Eric Bana) went back in time to tweak a few events to get rid of Kirk in his young age…
:)
Plot:
“The story of Up follows Carl Fredricksen (Ed Asner) who spent his entire life dreaming of exploring the globe and experiencing life to its fullest. But one day, Carl finds himself to be 78-years old and his life has seemingly passed him by, until he befriends a chubby 8-year old Wilderness Explorer named Russell. The two opposites match up for thrilling adventures as they encounter wild terrain, unexpected villains, and all the terrifying creatures that wait in the jungle.”
I doubt that the movie UP will eprform as well Wall-E but it still looks good.

Director Harold Ramis is digging in Biblical times to bring us The Year One, a surprising comedy movie. The film is starring Jack Black and Michael Cera.
Here below a preview clip of the Year One:
Plot: “When a couple of lazy hunter-gatherers (Black and Cera) are banished from their primitive village, they set off on an epic journey through the ancient world.” (Source: IMDb)
Cast:
– Jack Black as Zed
– Michael Cera as Oh
– Olivia Wilde as Princess Inanna
– June Raphael as Maya
– David Cross as Cain
– Paul Rudd as Abel
– Juno Temple as Eema
– Oliver Platt as High Priest
– Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Isaac
– Hank Azaria as Abraham
Black warned viewers expecting a comedy along the lines of Ghostbusters or Knocked Up, that the style of the film is much more along the lines of the Monty Python movies. The preview clip of Year One confirms indeed that Year One is a combination of Jack Black’s own comedy skills with some Monti Python influence (which plays with absurdity).
Land of the Lost is an upcoming movie adaptation of the 1970’s sci-fi TV series of the same name. The film is starring Will Ferrell in the lead role as Dr. Rick Marshall, the paleontologist.
Here below the first movie trailer of Land of the Lost:
I think that Land of the Lost will definitely bring Will Ferrell’s movie career back to a higher level: if we can believe this Superbowl trailer of Land of the Lost then the film should much more interesting than the usual farces Will Ferrell is used to play in!

There is no denying that this Superbowl GI Joe movie trailer is remarkably well cut! I hope it is not a false promise… But if half of the GI Joe movie is as explosive as this preview then it is going to more than awesome!

Audi has hired Jason Statham for a Superbowl ad, which is heavily inspired by the previous film of the actor:
This Audi commercial mixed reference to the Bank Job, Crank, Death race and the Transporter. Audi can be sure that its commercial will have a viral success on the web!
The action movie Taken, directed by Pierre Morel based on a script by Luc Besson and starring Liam Neeson in the lead role, is opening this Friday 30th. Take a look to this final trailer of Taken:
That’s a damn good action movie, damn worth seeing I think. If you are a daddy with kids, especially if you have a daughter, and that you love action movies, go see the movie Taken in the nearest theater!
