I saw Roland Emmerich’s 2012, and it’s definitely an amazing movie!
2012
What was shown in the different clips of 2012 is nothing compared to the whole thing on a giant screen! And you really care for the familly who’s trying to fly away from the imminent disaster: 2012 is a gorgeous movie both for its plot and its special effects! May God bless Roland Emmerich for his vision. And let’s hope that God will save us all from the final Apocalypse depicted in 2012!
2012 is gonna be a hell of a year and the most cataclysmic event will probably the final Tsunami, a giant tidal wave that will be so huge that it will reach Tibet! Here’s how Director Roland Emmerich and his VFX team created this event on screen:
Plot:
“Ancient prophecy states that the world will end in 2012, could these storms, these tidal waves, these earthquakes signal the end? Could it be the final apocalypse that will wipe out Mankind from the surface of Earth?”
United in oblivion… That’s not a really enjoyable perspective… But at least the movie 2012 will be damn fun to watch! 2012 will hit theaters on November 13, 2009.
Let’s witness the end of the world in 2012 according to Roland Emmerich in this 5 minute clip of 2012:
2012 5 minute Scene
I like the special effects in this extended clip of 2012, but I hope people won’t be screaming all the time… Ok, it’s the end of the world, but do we need to listen to those whining people? Anyway, the movie 2012 looks damn good!

No place on Earth will be safe when the 2012 Apocalypse happens: Iceland will be sent to oblivion like we may see on this new poster of Roland Emmerich’s 2012:

We were warned…
Two Icelandic monuments on this movie poster of 2012:
– Perlan (the pearl):
Perlan is a funky glass dome building that sits atop a hill overlooking Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland. Inside this landmark building there are shops, a restaurant, and the Saga Museum. The saga museum tells you about the Icelandic sagas as well as some other history. It also shows you how Icelanders used to live and how they live now.
– the church of Hallgrimur:
The Hallgrimskirkja (literally, the church of Hallgrimur) is Lutheran parish church. The church is named after the Icelandic poet and clergyman Hallgrimur Petursson (1614 to 1674), author of the Passion Hymns (a book that’s part of the Icelandic culture). Construction took time from 1945 to 1986. That building could fit perfectly well in the world of Starcraft!

Roland Emmerich’s 2012 will bring the final Apocalypse all over Earth. Even Tibet, nested in in the Himalayas, with an average height of Tibet territories exceeding 4 thousand meters above sealevel, will be wiped out by giant waves:
The movie 2012 shows that Director Roland Emmerich is kind of obsessed with the end of the world… His new movie is once again about the final apocalypse. And a damn scary apocalypse with that, just watch this Japanese trailer of 2012
Don’t plan too much because in 2012 it’s the end of the world. Want to see what the final nightmare will look like? Then check those new hi-res pictures of ‘2012’, the latest disaster movie directed by Roland Emmerich:
In 2012, because of deadly earthquakes, evil fires and a final worldwide giant flood, manking will be on verge of extinction… May God save our puny species…
;-P
I must give a call to Richard Bronson! if he can do something as revolutionary as providing wifi in his planes, I’m sure he could speed up his space program so we may all afford cheap tickets to get to orbit so to avoid the huge disaster ahead! 2012 is gonna be a hell of year!
;-P
The Mayan calendar predicted it, science has confirmed it.
But we never imagined it could really happen…

In the movie 2012 John Cusack plays the role of a father who’s determined to protect his little girl from the undergoing disaster: he wants to reach the site of a secret project built by the government, a kind of Noah’s Ark that could resist to the final apocalypse.
;-P
In 2012, Earth is going to face a flood of Biblical magnitude! Well a major disaster was forecast by the Mayans ages ago, and Roland Emmerich, who’s a got a taste for disaster movie, seizes the opportunity to make a movie about it (before it’s too late?). Here an official poster of 2012 spotted at the ShoWest convention:
The movie 2012 is starring John Cusack as a father who is desperately looking for a way to save his family from the flood. He hopes to join a secret governmental program that built a few special ships in the image of Noah’s Ark.

Roland Emmerich’s new disaster movie 2012 is pushed back from from July 10 to November 13. Sony distribution president Rory Bruer explains why the film is postponed:
“We’ve had such success with the James Bond films in November that we wanted a big tentpole film in that slot this year. We’ve got so many films in the summer that this is the perfect answer to that.”

It will give you time to look for 2012 on Google if you didn’t have time to do it yet!
;-)
Roland Emmerich is a man definitely fascinated by the Biblical flood. He’s making again a movie with a giant flood: it’s titled 2012. The movie is starring John Cusack and we have below a first look at him in the film:
John Cusack plays the role Jackson Curtis, a divorced writer who occasionally works as a limousine driver: will he be able to save his kids from Emmerich’s flood? Hope so!
:)
Roland Emmerich is working on a new movie titled 2012, based on a Mayan belief that the world will end in 2012. The movie 2012 has an ensemble cast, including John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton, Oliver Platt, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Woody Harrelson. It should be released in July 2009 November 2009 (the movie has been pushed back indeed).
The first official teaser trailer of the movie 2012, upcoming movie directed by Roland Emmerich, has been released.
How would the world’s leaders prepare six billion people for the end of the world?
They wouldn’t…
2012
The Plot:
“With the Mayan calendar ending in 2012, a large group of people must deal with natural disasters such as volcanic eruptions, typhoons and glaciers.” (Source: IMDb)
Director Roland Emmerich tells more about his source of inpiration for the movie 2012:
“…This whole movie I’m doing next was inspired by just the phenomenon of the internet when you type in Google, ‘2012’, you get 240 million hits. That’s a lot. And it’s just, so many people write about it, believe it, that our world comes to an end in 2012. I said wow. I kind of said before I will never do a disaster movie again. I said, for this idea I have to do it again.”
Judging from the teaser trailer of 2012 it seems to be a new version of The Day After Tomorrow, so nothing really new… But I’m still thrilled by 2012.
I hope we will have a full length 2012 movie trailer soon!
