Lois is frustrated when Clark continues to push aside her offers to help the team and sets out to prove she can play with the big boys. Tom Welling directed the episode written by John Chisolm.
Michael Hogan is a great actor, but God Knows I always hate the characters he plays… I’m pretty sure Col. Slade will be a real scumbag…

Looks like Clark Kent will definitely learn to fly and he will even wear the suit to become Superman! And yes, you didn’t dream, that was Jonathan Kent (John Schneider) aka Pa’ Kent and also Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum)! Can’t wait to see Smallville Season 10!
By the way, the big villain in season 10 of Smallville will be Darkseid!
:)
The final episode of Smallville Season 9 was a damn cliffhanger episode, so no I’m quite impatient to watch Smallville Season 10. Not much revealed so far, but the latest episode gave a few hints about what to expect in Smallville Season 10. First, Clark needs obviously to be somehow saved because he has been stabbed by Zod with a blue kryptonite knife:
It’s been officially confirmed by the CW Network: we may expect Smallville Season 10 for Fall 2010! They even promise that this new tenth season of Smallville will be a momentous season! I’m so glad to hear that: I definitely dig the ninth season and would have been sad to see Smallville coming to an end… And the new plot development totally justifies a new season.
Update – Here’s the first trailer of Smallville Season 10:
Looks like the current season of Smallville won’t be the last one. According to Allison Mack, who plays the role of Clark Kent’s best friend Chloe Sullivan, has kind of confirmed that Smallville Season 10 will air one day:
“The latest with ‘Smallville’ is there might be another season after season 9 . Tom Welling has signed for season 9 and for a season 10, so the show will go until season 10 (It Might). I will be completed with my contract next year, and I am looking for new and exciting ways to carry out my character’s exit. I love living in Vancouver, it is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I love the people, the food, the aesthetic, and the life I have built here. It’s wonderful.”
Actress Allison Mack
Well that’s rather good news! The season 9 is way better than the previous seasons so I’d be quite happy if they were delaying the final end of the TV series. If Smallville Season 10 really happens, I hope that we’ll be treated with the revelation of the real Superman at the end. I mean I want Clark Kent to wear his glasses while at the daily planet (we did see them once in season 9) and I want him to wear his Superman outfit when he goes fight against the crime in Metropolis, and last but not least Clark Kent must definitely learn to fly! Then he would become the real Superman!
Let’s hope that CW will greenlight Smallville Season 10!
:)
