A series of short clips in which the actors introduce the characters they’re playing in James Cameron’s Avatar have been released. And I start wondering about something: in Avatar it seems most humans are played by white people and there are only black people and Native people playing as aliens (as the Na’vi from the planet Pandora)? Check for yourself:
Update: following this post (?), those official videos have been tagged as private by Fox in their youtube account…

Take a look this new international poster of Everybody’s Fine, an upcoming family comedy movie directed by Kirk Jones and starring Robert De Niro, Drew Barrymore, Kate Beckinsale, Sam Rockwell and Lucian Maisel:
(Click on the poster to enlarge it.)
Plot:
“Everybody’s Fine, a remake of Giuseppe Tornatore’s ‘Stanno Tutti Bene’, follows a widower (Robert De Niro) who embarks on an impromptu road trip to reconnect with each of his grown children only to discover that their lives are far from picture perfect. At the heart of Everybody’s Fine is the theme of family and physical and emotional distances traveled to bring the members back together.”
And Here’s the trailer of Everybody’s fine if you haven’t seen it yet:
Everybody’s Fine
Yep, wine that’s not for children, even the expensive kind!

A new trailer of The Lovely Bones, the upcoming drama movie directed by Peter Jackson and based on Alice Sebold’s book of the same name, has shown up online. It’s a shorter cut of the Lovely Bones trailer previously released:
THE LOVELY BONES
Plot:
“The story centers on a young girl who is murdered but continues to observe her family on Earth after her death. She witnesses the impact of her demise on her loved ones, while her killer skillfully covers his tracks and prepares to murder again.”
The Lovely Bones movie is going to make me cry: it’s a really sad story magnified by Saoirse Ronan’s performance! She’s is a great actress, young but with a real talent!

According to Milla Jovovich who plays the role of zombie slayer Alice in the Resident Evil movie series, the movie trailer of Resident Evil 4 will be released in January 2010:

Milla Jovovich (via Twitter)
Plot:
“In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, ALICE (Milla Jovovich), continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead leads them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.”
I hope Milla Jovovich is right and that we will have a Resident Evil 4 trailer in January 2010: the sooner the better!
The movie Resident Evil 4, aka Resident Evil Afterlife, will be released on August 27, 2010.

I saw Roland Emmerich’s 2012, and it’s definitely an amazing movie!
2012
What was shown in the different clips of 2012 is nothing compared to the whole thing on a giant screen! And you really care for the familly who’s trying to fly away from the imminent disaster: 2012 is a gorgeous movie both for its plot and its special effects! May God bless Roland Emmerich for his vision. And let’s hope that God will save us all from the final Apocalypse depicted in 2012!
~Kir$ie~, a really passionate twilight fan, left a very long comment on a post about Twilight Breaking Dawn. It’s a bit long for the comment section, but we guess that quite a few Twilight fans would like to discuss wiht her about it. So here’s how she’d like Breaking Dawn, the fourth installment of the Twilight saga to be done: Continue reading »
Plot:
“Andy is departing for college, and his toys, including Woody (Tom Hanks) and Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), are going to be put in the attic. Before they can be put in the attic, they are accidentally thrown away and are picked up by the garbage men. The toys find themselves at a local day-care center, where they must try to survive the playful but careless pre-school children. Woody attempts to save his friends and find themselves a new home, but matters are further complicated when Buzz is damaged during an escape attempt. The toys try to reset Buzz, but end up causing him to revert to a Spanish version of his delusions of being a space ranger, much to the other toys’ discomfort.”
Kids prefer video games to toys nowadays! And I can understand them: playing a game on a Wii or a X-Box is so much better!

The movie Leap Year is an upcoming romantic comedy directed by Anand Tucker and starring Amy Adams, Matthew Goode, Adam Scott and John Lithgow. Here’s the movie trailer of Leap Year:
LEAP YEAR

“A woman (Rachel Adams) who has an elaborate scheme to propose to her boyfriend on Leap Day, an Irish tradition which occurs every time the date February 29 rolls around, faces a major setback when bad weather threatens to derail her planned trip to Dublin. With the help of an innkeeper, however, her cross-country odyssey just might result in her getting engaged.”
The movie Leap Year looks like a sweet comedy that one may enjoy to watch but would still swiftly forget because it’s just bland…

Falling from the rope was not very smart… And even if I feel sorry for him, I can’t keep myself from laughing!
