The second Halloween movie did not meet expectations… Here’s Mike Myers’ answer to those who were disappointed by the film and who bad-mouthed it:

He’s quite pissed off, so in 2010, with the movie Halloween 3, he’s gonna slash us all in 3D as a revenge!

Kable (300’s Gerard Butler) is the superstar and cult hero of the ultraviolent ‘Slayers’. Kable is controlled by Simon, a young gamer with rock star status who continues to defy all odds by guiding Kable to victory each week. Taken from his family, imprisoned and forced to fight against his will, the modern day gladiator must survive long enough to escape the game to free his family, regain his identity and to save mankind from Castle’s ruthless technology.”
No technology is evil in itself: a technology to control minds like in the movie Gamer could have some useful applications, it could help to reduce recurring criminality for example. But I doubt there would be any organization trustworthy enough to manage the implementation of this mind-control gimmick… Would-be dictators, or just simple twisted minds, would pervert its use. So better this invention never to happen!
