Let’s witness the end of the world in 2012 according to Roland Emmerich in this 5 minute clip of 2012:
2012 5 minute Scene
I like the special effects in this extended clip of 2012, but I hope people won’t be screaming all the time… Ok, it’s the end of the world, but do we need to listen to those whining people? Anyway, the movie 2012 looks damn good!
:)
The second trailer of Up in the air reveals more details about the plot of this new movie directed by Jason Reitman and starring George Clooney:
UP IN THE AIR
Plot:
“Ryan Bingham, is a corporate downsizing expert whose cherished life on the road is threatened just as he is on the cusp of reaching ten million frequent flyer miles and just after he’s met the frequent-traveler woman of his dreams.”
“People do crazy stuffs when they get fired”, yes they do!
The movie Up in the Air will be an interesting look into the life of a lonely corporate hawk!

Comments Off on Alvin and The Chipmunks The Squeakquel
There is a new trailer of Alvin and the Chipmunks 2, aka Alvin and the Chipmunks the Squeakquel:
ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS THE SQUEAKQUEL
Plot:
“The world famous singing pre-teen chipmunk trio return to contend with the pressures of school, celebrity, and a rival female music group known as The Chipettes.”
Girl power shines from the little female squirrels! Our friends Chipmunks will have girlfriends!
:)
The stop-motion animation seems kind of broken in this new trailer of the Fantastic Mr Fox… Don’t know if it was their intent, but I’d rather watch some smooth CGI animation.
The Fantastic Mr Fox is maybe a movie that people yearning for old fashioned animation will appreciate… But even if the story is catchy and the voices (with George Clooney and Bill Murray) are awesome, I doubt it will be enough to entice people to go watch The Fantastic Mr Fox in theaters…
:/
The movie trailer of Tooth Fairy has been released! In Tooth Fairy Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock got a new job as tooth fairy.
Here’s the trailer of Tooth Fairy:
TOOTH FAIRY
Plot:
“A bad deed on the part of a tough minor-league hockey player (Johnson) results in an unusual sentence: He must serve one week as a real-life tooth fairy.”
No need to bash this film: it’s not Rambo, but it’s gonna be fun to watch in family. And one can’t deny that the Rock looks with his little wings is something worth seeing. Sing me up for the Tooth Fairy!

Director Breck Eisner has been working on The Crazies, a remake of George Romero’s 1973 horror film of the same name. The new Crazies movie is starring Timothy Olyphant, Radha Mitchell, Danielle Panabaker, Joe Anderson. It will be released on February 26, 2010.
Here below the official movie trailer of The Crazies:
THE CRAZIES
Plot:
“A reinvention loosely based upon the George Romero classic of the same name, The Crazies is about the inhabitants of a small Iowa town suddenly plagued by insanity and then death after a mysterious toxin contaminates their water supply.”
I haven’t seen the original movie. But Breck Eisner’s The Crazies looks quite good. And the song Mad World (by Gary Jules) at the end of the trailer of the Crazies was well chosen!

Disney Pictures wants to reconnect with its glorious past in hand-drawn animation by producing The Princess and the Frog. The film will be relased in December 2009, but meanwhile let’s watch this first clip of the Princess and the Frog
The Princess and the Frog
That’s exactly the answer: you must kiss me!
Kissing a frog, really? That girl must be really depressed… Or maybe he real intent was to get high from licking that frog? I should stop there, afraid to become like the old Scrooge in a A Christmas Carol…
:)
This new movie trailer of A Christmas Carol, the upcoming movie directed by Robert Zemeckis, is like a crazy ride:
A CHRISTMAS CAROL
I can but feel compelled to go watch A Christmas Carol in a 3D-enabled theater after watching this trailer: it’s gonna deliver a hell of a 3D experience in such a theater!
:)
Samuel Bayer is bringing us a remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Jackie Earle Haley got the lead role as Freddy Krueger. Here’s the movie trailer of A Nightmare on Elm Street:
NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET
Plot:
“A re-imagining of the horror icon Freddy Krueger, a serial-killer who wields a glove with four blades embedded in the fingers and kills people in their dreams, resulting in their real death in reality.”
I like the origin story concept. And that creepy song in the background I hope it will be on the soundtrack of A Nightmare on Elm Street!
:)
Here’s a TV spot of Whip It, the upcoming comedy movie directed by Drew Barrymore and starring Ellen Page:
Plot:
“In Bodeen, Texas, an indie-rock loving misfit finds a way of dealing with her small-town misery after she discovers a roller derby league in nearby Austin.”
The movie Whip It hits theaters on October 2, that’s next week!
:)
An international trailer of Law Abiding Citizen, the upcoming action thriller movie starring Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx, has shown up:
LAW ABIDING CITIZEN
Plot:
“After a home invasion, Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) is told that one of the criminals who killed his wife and daughter would get off due to his cooperation with the district attorney’s office and the other would be put on death row. Shelton seeks revenge not just against the criminals but the entire justice system; he is quickly captured, but Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx), a heroic yet corrupt D.A. who got one of the murderers off, quickly realizes that prison isn’t enough to keep Shelton from killing those who kept the criminals from getting the sentence they deserved.”
One can understands the rage of Butler’s character. But that guy is nuts: not only he decides to tackle the murderers on his own, but he also wants to take down the justice system!
;-P
