Race to Witch Mountain is an upcoming sci-fi movie, remake of the original 1975 film Escape to Witch Mountain. This new version, using a script by Matt Lopez, is a modern re-imagining of the 1975 movie. The film is directed by Andy Fickman and is starring Dwayne Johnson, AnnaSophia Robb, Alexander Ludwig, Ciaran Hinds, and Carla Gugino. Race to Witch Mountain should be released in March 2009.

I’m rather found of DiCaprio’s movies in general. And it looks like I’ll be thrilled by his upcoming movie Revolutionary Road too! In Revolutionary Road Leonardo DiCaprio meets again Kate Winslet, they’re husband and wife actually. But in the 1950s life does not seem that appealing for a couple dreaming of adventure.

A CGI animated movie based on the Resident Evil and directed by Makoto Kamiya is going to be released straight to DVD and Blu Ray in the USA on the 30th of December 2008. The movie is titled Resident Evil Degeneration (it is also known as Biohazard Degeneration in Japan). Unlike the previous Resident Evil film trilogy, Degeneration is set within the same universe as the original video games.

Plot:
“In autumn 2005, an incident happens at the airport of Harvardville, a mid-western American city. The plan goes awry when an infected victim attacks several others, causing the infection to spread quickly and starting widespread panic among the public in the airport. I’d love to see this manga based on the universe Resident Evill to spawn into a TV series. It looks like a much better animated adaptation than what has been done with Star Wars The Clone Wars!
