Comments Off on Anton Yelchin as Kyle Reese in Terminator 4
In Terminator 4 Anton Yelchin is playing the role of Kyle Reese in Terminator 4. Kyle Reese is the resistant who will be sent to the past to protect John Connor’s mother (and is actually Connor’s father…). Skynet may want to kill him, but John Connor won’t let it happen:
More clips of Terminator 4, aka Terminator Salvation, have popped up online through Collider. It’s surprising that Warner Bros. are releasing so much footage of the latest Terminator movie so early, but well it doesn’t hurt: those preview clips of McG’s Terminator 4 will make you want to go stand in line for tickets right away!
The promo frenzy around Terminator 4 is kicking into high gear: following the 4-minute Terminator Salvation clip released earlier, two new terminator 4 clips have popped up!
Comments Off on Christian Bale and Sam Worthington vs Terminator
Christian Bale and Sam Worthington are the two main characters of the upcoming terminator 4 movie, aka Terminator Salvation. Here below the latest Terminator 4 movie poster:
(Click on the poster to enlarge it.)
“The ending is indeed elliptical. And it challenges the audience. It’s not a happy little bow of an ending at all. The ending is tough and requires reflection, and in some degrees it bifurcates the audience. You walk back to the car and one person thinks it means this, and the other person thinks it means that.”
Director McG
So much mystery: I love it! Terminator Salvation is gonna be a hell of a movie. :)
This Terminator Salvation poster shows that the frontier between man and machine has been blurred: the new paradigm isn’t as clear cut as John Connor’s mother thought it would be. :)
Terminator 4, aka Terminator Salvation, could have been a R–rated movie but it seems that McG had to go with a compromising PG13. But the movie Terminator 4 still looks deeply dark, in a way that makes it still a damn awesome movie:
You and me we have been at war since even before I ever existed…
Plot: “After Skynet has destroyed much of humanity in a nuclear holocaust, a group of survivors led by John Connor (Christian Bale) struggles to keep the machines from finishing the job.” Those TV spots of terminator 4 are really thrilling! Don’t miss Terminator 4 on May 21, 2009! ;-P
Skynet and its Terminators want to annihilate mankind. But we won’t give them a free reign. Like on this latest movie poster of Terminator Salvation, showing a man (probably John Connor) carrying a Terminator head in his hand:
Two new posters of Terminator Salvation, aka Terminator 4, have surfaced online:

Because of Battlestar Galactica I started to hate3 my toaster, now, with this Terminator 4 movie I’m gonna transform into a real Luddite and will start to smash a few machines just to fight back before they bring Judgement Day upon us! ;-P
Christian Bale has reached the status the badass actor, and I bet he’s gonna keep it for a long time. One more proof of this in this behind-the-scenes clip of Terminator Salvation:
Christian Bale is so dynamic that Director McG has to calm him down:
“Christian Bale wants to do everything himself: he’s a guy who really likes to feel it. But there’s insurance issues and you get producers to come out and sort of de-engage him from the hook which he’s about to hang from the side of the building.”
Director McG
Still no confirmation of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s cameo in Terminator 4. According to the rumor, it would not even be a real cameo but some computerized avatar, well that would be fine too I guess! :)
Terminator Salvation is the working title of the fourth Terminator movie, directed by McG and starring Christian Bale in the lead role as John Connor and Sma Worthington as a cyborg who strongly believes to be human. Here below a triptic poster of Terminator 4:
(Click on the poster to enlarge it.) From left to right: Christian Bale as John Connor, Terminator robot, Sam Worthington as Marcus Wright
If Skynet (the evil network aiming at annihilating mankind) was to become real nowadays, it wouldn’t be based on military installations, it would rather rise from the civilian cloud that’s currently building up. And rather than Skynet, we would probably call it Google AI… ;-P
Sam Worthington is playing the role of Marcus Wright a cyborg Terminator who strongly believes that he’s human and gets genuinely shocked when he learns about his own robotic attributes from John Connor (Christian Bale)… :)
I don’t give a dam about the Oscars. But I found a compelling reason for talking about it: at the end of the show a montage of footage from various upcoming movies was aired! Thanks to Firstshowing we may enjoy below the end credits of the Oscars:

The new Terminator movie, Terminator 4 aka Terminator Salvation, is starring Christian Bale in the lead role. And the post-apocalyptic opus is directed by McG. Thanks to Wired we got some new gorgeous concept arts, the interview of McG is worth reading. Here an extract:
“The first film shows Schwarzenegger’s T-800 coming from 2029 back in time […] Salvation takes place in 2018, so you see the R&D that went into the T-800. It’s like the polio vaccine: You’ve got to go through a lot of lab rats to get to vaccine. In this film, humans are the lab rats. Skynet is testing on us to figure out how to make a photorealistic, leaner, smaller, more capable machine — the T-800.”
John Connor was trained by his mother to fight against Skynet and the Terminators. But in the future described in Terminator 4, aka terminator Salvation, things aren’t exactly like John Connor may have imagined: Skynet is much more vicious and nasty than expected and the evil computer is coming with some new friends:
I doubt we would be Luddites enough today to smash our computers in order to save Mankind from such a fate… So let’s hope that if such a tragedy ever happened, some savior like John in Terminator 4 will rise from the remnants of Mankind! The machines shall not win: Mankind must prevail! :-)
Terminator 4 is actually the first opus of a trilogy that will explore the apocalyptic world in which John Connor with the help of the Human resistance strives for defeating Skynet and its fellow machines. :)
We now have the official US movie trailer of Terminator 4. This version is rather different from the Japanese trailer that previously leaked online. So we get some more footage of Terminator Salvation:
Christian bale and Sam Worthington are both starring in Terminator 4, aka Terminator Salvation. Christian Bale is playing the role of John Connor, the man whose destiny has long been to save Mankind. But so far we have only sparse details about Sam Worthington’s role. And the new Terminator trailer would let us think that he’s working for the machines…
Judging from this Terminator 4 movie trailer, the new Terminator movie looks as dark as Director McG and Christian Bale (who plays the role of John Connor) promised us. The movie Terminator Salvation is gonna blow us all away! :)
Comments Off on Terminator Salvation Trailer Sneak Preview
We may have a look to a sneak preview of Terminator Salvation thanks to Entertainment Tonight. It is a sneak peek of the Terminator 4 trailer that will be shown before Keanu Reeves’ The Day the Earth Stood Still:
Terminator Salvation, aka Terminator 4, is the first movie of a trilogy that will explore the final clash between humans and machines, it will be a tale of the End. Director McG’s eschatology is set to generate three phenomenal Terminator blockbusters! :)
The cinema industry is trying hard to make movie posters interactive. Not so long ago there were talking posters for The Spirit. Now we have a motion poster for Terminator 4 that brings together sound and picture in a nice animation (just click on the poster to launch the animation):
Director McG tries to respect the origins of Terminator: we will have a real Terminator movie this time. I bet far better than the dumb third opus of the Terminator movie series. :)
Christian Bale is John Connor in Terminator 4: I hope he will have the same awesome impact on the Terminator movie franchise as he had on the Batman franchise. :)
