Hollywood does not wait anymore for a movie to be released before planing a sequel: and that’s the case for Terminator Salvation directed by McG and starring Christian Bale.
Indeed, a sequel of Terminator Salvation is already decided following the positive early buzz around Terminator 4.
Director McG should be back for Terminator 5 and Christian bale should reprise his role as John Connor. Bale actually signed for a potential Terminator trilogy from the start.
Terminator 5 is tentatively set for a release in 2011. I wonder then when would the Terminator 6 movie would then be released: they should try to film both Terminator 5 and Terminator 6 to reduce costs and like we would have both movies released the same year, would be so great.
Anyway, knowing that there will be a Terminator 5 movie makes my day!

Owen Wilson, Jennifer Aniston and a cute dog: that’s for sure a winner team! If Japan is somewhat representative of Asia in general, considering that What Happened In Vegas outperformed the Dark Knight according to what I once heard, then you can bet that Marley and Me is gonna cash in over there!

Tom Zarek is threatening Laura Roslin’s life and Admiral Adama clearly stands that he would retaliate against Zarek if anything happens to her.
Saul tigh tries to talk to Bill Adma, but the Admiral is too depressed…
Did you check the BSG picture above? Laura Roslin is missing but look on the left of this earlier version of the same picture:
I hope it doesn’t mean that Laura Roslin is the final cylon. It would be so lame… It’s more probably because she will die because of her cancer soon. Sad to say, but better this for the plot of BSG than her being the final five…

Director Steven Soderbergh is filming The Informant, an upcoming dark comedy thriller film, , which is based on the 2000 nonfiction book of the same name written by Kurt Eichenwald, a former journalist for the New York Times. The Informant movie is starring Matt Damon, Scott Bakula, and Joel McHale. It is set for a release in September 2009.
Here below a first look at Matt Damon as Mark Whitacre in the movie The Informant:

The trailer of the Informant:
THE INFORMANT
Plot:
“What was Mark Whitacre thinking? A rising star at agri-industry giant Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), Whitacre suddenly turns whistleblower. Even as he exposes his company’s multi-national price-fixing conspiracy to the FBI, Whitacre envisions himself being hailed as a hero of the common man and handed a promotion. But before all that can happen, the FBI needs evidence, so Whitacre eagerly agrees to wear a wire and carry a hidden tape recorder in his briefcase, imagining himself as a kind of de facto secret agent.
Unfortunately for the FBI, their lead witness hasn’t been quite so forthcoming about helping himself to the corporate coffers. Whitacre’s ever-changing account frustrates the agents and threatens the case against ADM as it becomes almost impossible to decipher what is real and what is the product of Whitacre’s rambling imagination. Based on the true story of the highest-ranking corporate whistleblower in U.S. history.” (Source: Coming Soon)

Whitacre the whistleblower was suffering of bipolar disorder. Maybe because of this, while helping the FBI to nab the white-collar criminals, he also defrauded $9 million from his own company at the same time! The guy is incredible!
But maybe not as much incredible as Bernard Madoff, the former head of NASDAQ, and his giant Ponzi scheme though: I bet that Hollywood will buy the movie rights of his story! Hope he will go rot in prison with a roommate like T-Bag from Prison Break for what he did!
Back to The Informant: Matt Damon has a damned nice mustache! But I still prefer the mustache of George Clooney in The Men Who Stare At Goats.

Final Destination 4 isn’t the first movie to jump on the bandwagon of 3D, not even the first horror to do so (check My Bloody Valentine 3D). But the Final Destination has an important following, so it will really mark the advent of 3D in the horror movie genre.
:)
Terminator 4 is actually the first opus of a trilogy that will explore the apocalyptic world in which John Connor with the help of the Human resistance strives for defeating Skynet and its fellow machines.

There is a new Wolverine trailer in front of Keanu Reeves’ Earth Stood Still. A valorous fellow fans just leaked online a bootleg Wolverine movie trailer:
I really hope they will spend some time on Logan’s childhood. I wonder if they will stick to the comic book concerning his origin. The addition of Gambit so early in Wolverine’s life, even if not really respecting the time line of the Marvel comic universe, is a good sign for the fans who are craving to see a Gambit spin-off movie.
The Wolverine movie will be released on May 1st, 2009. I bet throngs are going to queue in front of theaters to see the adamantium hero!

Director Guy Ritchie is working on a new movie adaptation Sherlock Holmes, the fictional detective created more than a century ago by Arthur Conan Doyle. Guy Ritchie wants to bring Sherlock Holmes back in his heyday, when the fictional detective was epitomizing adventure and a sense of danger: Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes, interpreted by Robert Downey Jr., is literally kick-ass. Just check those two official pictures (via FirstShowing) of the upcoming Sherlock Holmes movie:
Sherlock Holmes is not only a great detective but he his also a marvelous martial-arts expert. And this take on Sherlock Holmes is actually respecting the orignal source material. Indeed, it is Arthur Conan Doyle who described Sherlock Holmes as an expert in Bartitsu, an eclectic martial art and self-defense method originally developed in England during the years 1898-1902. Take a look to this montage of Bartitsu self defence techniques:
Bartitsu looks rather kitsch nowadays… But I suppose that Robert Downey Jr. will surprise us a usual in his role as Sherlock Holmes.

The movie Knowing is directed by Nicolas Cage and is starring Nicolas in the lead role.
Those bogeymen in the shadow are freaking me out a bit: they look like the villains from The Strangers… I can also but think of the TV series the 4400 after watching this Knowing trailer: could those bogeymen be some messengers from a devastated future trying to prevent a cataclysmic catastrophe to happen? What do you think?
