Aging backward is no myth: at least among the stars…. Just look at Madonna!
More seriously, Director David Fincher is like a good wine: he gets better with age. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button looks like a real masterpiece.
:)
I think this ghost is contemplating haunting Warner Bros. headquarters because they postponed the release of Harry Potter and the Half Blood prince….

If you buy the upcoming DVD of Wall-E you’ll be able to watch a new Pixar hort film entitled Burn-E, wich follows the adventures of a welder robot who is fitly named Burn-E. Burn-E was locked out of the spaceship when Wall-E rushed in, and is striving to get in again.
If you forgot the scene I suggest to watch it again: –> Burn-E
And, thanks to the Pixar Blog, we have some better screen captures of Burn-E:
I think Burn-E will be as amazing as the movie Wall-E itself. Maybe I will buy the DVD, well, unless Pixar Burn-E leaked online before… Joking, better of course to show some support to Disney Pixar and buy a real Wall-E DVD.
Update as of November 12, 2008: Burn-E has just leaked –> Watch Burn-E Online

Comments Off on Earth Stood Still Keanu Reeves As Klaatu New Movie Poster
A new international poster of the Day The Earth Stood Still, upcoming sci-fi movie starring Keanu Reeves as Klaatu, an alien coming to Earth to bring an imperious message to Mankind:
In the original 1950s movie Klaatu was more interested in the fate of Mankind than in the fate of Earth’s environment itself. But the plot has been twisted with issues of our time, namely global warming and ecology in general.

I suppose the marketing team behind Gran Torino will soon release a movie poster featuring a Gran Torino 1972, waiting for it! Ford is maybe on the verge of bankruptcy, but the company made some damned good cars in the past!
:)
This poster looks like the one made for Adam Sandler’s Bedtime Stories. Well, actually the plots of both movies, involving books and fiction creatures becoming real, are similar too.
Should take bets on which movie will perform the best at the box office! I’d rather bet on Brendan Fraser!
:)
Director Gabriele Muccino and Will Smith are hell of a team. Hope those two will work again together in the future. Movies like The Pursuit of Happyness and Seven Pounds are so intense!

The Secret of Moonacre is an upcoming fantasy family movie adaptation of the novel The Little White Horse written by Elizabeth Goudge. The movie is directed by Hungarian-born director Gabor Csupo (who also directed Bridge to Terabithia). It is starring Dakota Blue Richards (the girl from Golden Compass), Ioan Gruffudd, Tim Curry respectively as Maria Merryweather, Sir Benjamin who is Maria’s uncle, and the villain Coeur De Noir.
The Secret of Moonacre is set to be released on February 6, 2009 in the UK. Unfortunately there is no official release date for the USA yet. But I bet a date will be announced soon: after all it does look good.
Here below the first official trailer of the Secret of Moonacre:
The Secret of Moonacre Trailer
Plot:
“When 13 year old Maria Merryweather’s father dies, leaving her orphaned and homeless, she is forced to leave her luxurious London life to go and live with Sir Benjamin, an eccentric uncle she didn’t know she had, at the mysterious Moonacre Manor. Soon Maria finds herself in a crumbling moonlit world torn apart by the hatred of an ancient feud with the dark and sinister De Noir family. Maria discovers that she is the last Moon Princess and, guided by an unlikely mix of allies, she must overcome her family’s pride in order to unearth the secrets of the past before the 5000th moon rises and Moonacre disappears into the sea forever.” (Source: Wikipedia)
Really hope it will get a wider release. I really like this kind of fantasy movie. Besides the whole family can enjoy it! The Secret of Moonacre is worth watching.
