Terminator Salvation isn’t released yet that Director McG seems working on developing Terminator 5 later on. Film Journal International, a trade publication covering the motion picture industry (I believe it’s a reliable source), met with Director McG to talk about T4. McG must have felt confident because he also dwelt on terminator 5, the movie sequel to Terminator Salvation:
I hope Director McG is not telling BS just to create some buzz because I’d be damn thrilled to watch a Terminator 5 movie based on the premise above!
Director McG seems definitely overhauling the Terminator franchise for the best!

The first official District 9 trailer went online a few minutes ago, it is clear that this movie will be one of the blockbuster of this Summer 2009:
They are not welcome.
They are not accepted.
They are not Human.
Head to Apple site to watch in HD.
The premise of District is twisting the usual alien invasion plot: in District 9 the aliens come to Earth in a huge spaceship but are running out ‘fuel’, so instead of invaders they transform into refugees.
Don’t miss the movie District 9 this summer!

Even Darth Vader is brought to life in Night at the Museum 2:
Night at the Museum Battle of the Smithsonian
Saving the day won’t be easy for Ben Stiller! May the force be with him!

The movie adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s The Road directed by John Hillcoat and starring Viggo Mortensen and Kodi Smit-McPhee was due for last year, but it’s been delayed because of post-production taking more time than expected.
Well, it seems they completed the job: the Weinstein Company is now announcing the release of the Road for October 16, 2009.
Plot of the Road:
“A father and his son walk alone through burned America. Nothing moves in the ravaged landscape save the ash on the wind. It is cold enough to crack stones, and, when the snow falls it is gray. The sky is dark. Their destination is the coast, although they don’t know what, if anything, awaits them there. They have nothing: just a pistol to defend themselves against the lawless bands that stalk the road, the clothes they are wearing, a cart of scavenged food–and each other.”
Actor Viggo Mortensen will mesmerize us in his embodiment of the fater, with Kodi Smit-McPhee as his son.

A full length movie trailer of GI Joe The Rise of Cobra has shown up online:
Plot:
“Ten years in the future, the G.I. Joe team battles the evil Cobra Organization, run by a Scottish arms dealer. The story takes place across the Arctic, Paris, Moscow, Washington, D.C., Australia and the Sahara. The team will be based in the Pit, while it was indicated Cobra Island will appear. In terms of characterization, the focus will be on Scarlett and the Baroness’s romantic lives.
The film also acts as an origin story for many of the characters. Stephen Sommers said, “For people who know nothing about it, it’ll make sense. And to people who love this stuff, it’ll show where they all came from.”
The movie GI Joe Rise of the Cobra will hit theaters on August 7, 2009.

The movie DB Evolution was like crap and was a relative theatrical failure. But the word is that Fox is still thinking about making a movie sequel to Dragonball Evolution. I suppose that this Dragonball 2 movie, if it ever happens, would be the adaptation of Dragonball Z, the second chapter of Goku’s life.
Message to Fox people: if you really want to do a DBZ movie, try to do it right this time. Maybe you should hire the people from Funglisoft to help you (believe me, you really need help, because so far we all know that Fox barely understands what Dragonball is about…)
Why Funglisoft? Well because they definitely know the world of Dragonball and have even produced a great short film based on it. Here a clip featuring a fight between Gohan (Goku’s son) and the cyborg siblings:
They had a really small budget to do this, but they got it all right! So how come Fox, with so much money, just produced a Power Rangers flick (understand DB Evolution)?
Anyway, you can still erase the stain from Goku’s outfit if you were to hire the right people!
