Plot:
“A professor (Nicolas Cage) finds that the contents of a time capsule at his son’s elementary school makes predictions of the future that have come true. The predictions lead the teacher to believe the world is ending, and that he and his son are involved in the apocalypse.”
Nicolas Cage is going to save the world! Can he save us from the recession too?

Black warned viewers expecting a comedy along the lines of Ghostbusters or Knocked Up, that the style of the film is much more along the lines of the Monty Python movies. The preview clip of Year One confirms indeed that Year One is a combination of Jack Black’s own comedy skills with some Monti Python influence (which plays with absurdity).

The new Terminator movie, Terminator 4 aka Terminator Salvation, is starring Christian Bale in the lead role. And the post-apocalyptic opus is directed by McG. Thanks to Wired we got some new gorgeous concept arts, the interview of McG is worth reading. Here an extract:
“The first film shows Schwarzenegger’s T-800 coming from 2029 back in time […] Salvation takes place in 2018, so you see the R&D that went into the T-800. It’s like the polio vaccine: You’ve got to go through a lot of lab rats to get to vaccine. In this film, humans are the lab rats. Skynet is testing on us to figure out how to make a photorealistic, leaner, smaller, more capable machine — the T-800.”
Audi has hired Jason Statham for a Superbowl ad, which is heavily inspired by the previous film of the actor:
This Audi commercial mixed reference to the Bank Job, Crank, Death race and the Transporter. Audi can be sure that its commercial will have a viral success on the web!

Fox is lucky to have Hugh Jackman as Logan aka Wolverine. He definitely epitomizes the uncontrollable mutant by now! Just take a look to this poster if you aren’t convinced yet:
(Click on the poster to enlarge it.)
This Wolverine movie dwells on the early life of Logan aka Wolverine. Project Weapon X is going to enrol him by force and will infuse his skeleton with adamantium, the indestructible alloy.
Do you think that the Hugh Jackman tries to use the adamantium claws of his Marvel avatar when getting mad at people? Maybe he does unconsciously! I know I would (maybe I do already…).
