Hitman Chev Chelios (Jason Statham) still has some issues with his heart in the movie Crank 2, aka Crank High Voltage. With pretty girls all around, one can but understand him. here below some picture of Crank 2:
(Click on a picture to enlarge it.)
Plot of Crank High Voltage:
“Hitman Chev Chelios (Statham) launches himself on an electrifying chase through Los Angeles in pursuit of the Chinese mobster who has stolen his nearly indestructible heart and replaced it with a battery-powered heart that requires regular jolts of electricity to keep working.”
To sum up: in Crank 2 Statham has to stay charged to stay alive!
Director Brad Sibling has been helming Land of the Lost, an upcoming adventure comedy movie based on the 1970’s TV series. Will Ferrell got the lead role as Dr. Rick Marshall. Here below the first Land of the lost clip:
That’s a nasty mosquito, isn’t it? A mosquito repellent would not be effective against it: better to use a ninja sword! Thank God we don’t have mosquitoes like this one biting around anymore!
Land of the Lost will be released on June 5, 2009.

Life is tough in time of recession. But it could be worse: imagine if you had the Grim Reaper nastily going after you! Just look at this new still of Final Destination 4:

What an horrific picture! I can but agree quote Iszaham who tipped us about this pic: “this is wicked!”
Final Destination Death Trip 3D is the summer movie 2009 that will give you goosebumps!

Three new pictures of Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes, upcoming movie starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, have shown up:
(Click on a picture to enlarge it.)
There is no doubt that Robert Downey Jr.’s interpretation of Sherlock Holmes will be in stark contrast with the former Sherlock Holmes movies: Downey’s version of Sherlock Holmes is a man that could run for the title of sexiest man of the year! I can tell as much for Jude Law as Dr. Watson. Director Guy Ritchie did bring a new life to the story created by Athur Conan Doyle!
The movie Sherlock Holmes will be released on December 25, 2009.

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is Director Terry Gilliam’s upcoming fantasy movie. Heath Ledger had a lead role as the conman Tony, but he passed away in the midst of production.
Heath Ledger as Tony:
A conman, who joins the troupe.
But Terry Gilliam had the great idea to use a plot trick to finish the movie to honor the work done by Heath Ledger. Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law pay tribute to the actor by filling in for the remaining scenes Heath Ledger didn’t have the time to film.
Cinematographer Nicola Pecorini worked on the film and he published a nice picture on his site (here) thanks to which we may see for the first time Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law in their respective versions of Tony, the role they’re sharing with Heath Ledger:

Below you may have a close look:
(Click on the picture to enlarge it.) In the role of Tony in the Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus:

Jude Law
Now you’re probably wondering what the Doctor Parnassus may look like, here he is:
Christopher Plummer as Doctor Parnassus:
The 1,000-year-old leader of a travelling theatre troupe.
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus will be a strange movie for sure! But I’m confident it will be interesting.

Summit Entertainment is definitely optimistic regarding its movie adaptation of the Twilight saga written by Stephenie Meyer. The first Twilight movie in 2008 was a real jackpot. So we may understand the keen dedication of the production company to bring New Moon this 2009. Now, dear Twilight fans, fasten your seat belts because Summit is fast-tracking the movie Eclipse, aka Twilight 3: the release date of the movie Eclipse has been set for June 30, 2010!
The word is that Summit is rushing with the adaptation both to compound on the success of the first movie and to lock in a deal with Stephenie Meyer before the value of the franchise skyrockets again.
Plot – Synopsis:
“As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death.”
We can bet that the movie will be titled The Twilight Saga Eclipse, following the decision made for New Moon’s title.
New Moon’s director Chris Weitz won’t be helming Twilight 3 because of conflicting schedules: he will be in post-production on New Moon at the same time that Eclipse will start shooting.
But of course Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will be back for this Eclipse movie, respectively as Edward the Vampire, Bella the undecided young lady, and Jacob the newly assumed Werewolf.
What part of Eclipse would you like this Twilight 3 movie to put focus on?
Update as of April 22, 2009: Summit Entertainment has announced that Director David Slade, who once brought us the vampire movie ’30 Days of Night’, will be helming the twilight movie Eclipse. Here’s what David Slade looks like:
Do you think that David Slade is a good choice to direct the movie Eclipse?
Update 1: the first official picture of the Twilight Saga Eclipse has been released!
Looks like Marvel and Director Kenneth Branagh are well decided to bring us a Thor movie. Indeed we’ve got confirmation of their intent thanks to a casting call notice for Thor that leaked online:
“Male MUST BE MID-LATE 20’S and SIX FEET OR TALLER. LEAD.
Physically powerful, very handsome, occasionally egotistical, petulant, and wild. A natural warrior with a quick charming wit who must be genuinely and severely humbled before becoming the compassionate, mature her of our film.”
The movie Thor is tentatively scheduled for July 2011.
Do you feel you could be fit enough to handle Thor’s hammer? Or what actor would be the best choice to epitomize the Thunder God? Should we see a brand new actor as the Mighty Thor?
;-)
Eclipse
aka Twilight 3, aka The Twilight Saga Eclipse
Fantasy/Thriller/Romance
Directed by David Slade
Starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner
Release Date: June 30, 2010
It must have been easier for Matt Damon to gain 20-30 pounds in order to look like the doughy Mark Whitacre than for Taylor Lautner to beef up for the role of Jack Black in the upcoming movie New Moon!
:)
I’m a fan of Dr. Manhattan! I’m really thinking about wearing my Dr. Manhattan costume for the premiere of the movie Watchmen! Too bad that my wife wouldn’t accept to get dressed as Silk Spectre…
:)
One may recognize the glowing red eyes from the previous Transformers 2 movie poster:
The Fallen is one of the thirteen original Transformers. Both Transformers and Decepticons are afraid of his incredible power. Are they going to join forces to defeat this dangerous robotic relic?
A few shots from the movie sets of Transformers have leaked online thourgh LiningUpTV. The scene would take place in a museum, where the Fallen would have been hidden for centuries inside some Antic construct before being inadvertently awaken: Continue reading »

Nice pictures showing Kevin Durand as the Blob:
(Click on the picture to enlarge it.)
Hard to believe that the fatty Blob above is indeed Kevin Durand who is a quite fit actor: don’t worry for his health that’s just disguise and make up.
You may remember Kevin Durand as one of the villains who attacked the island during the fourth season of Lost.
The movie X-Men Origins Wolverine will be released on May 1, 2009.

News vendor and Rorschach in a scene from Watchmen
Nite Owl, Rorschach and Silk Spectre II in Watchmen
Jackie Earle Haley is playing the role of Walter Kovacs and his super alter-ego Rorschach. Rorschach is a superhero who continues his vigilante activities after they are outlawed. He was transformed over time from a “soft” costumed hero into a manichean killer who sees the world in black and white.
Iszaham also pointed to this gorgeous picture of Dr. Manahattan:
(Click on the picture to enlarge it.) Watchmen’s Dr. Manhattan lashes out
Dr. Jon Osterman aka Doctor Manhattan (played by Billy Crudup) is a superhero with genuine powers who works for the U.S. government.
I bet that this Watchmen movie will be at least as cult as the original comic book! Director Zack Snyder has done an amazing job with Watchmen! Thumbs and Toes up for Snyder and his Watchmen movie!

Comments Off on Quentin Tarantino Inglourious Basterds
According to the latest rumor a movie trailer of Inglourious Basterds, Quentin Tarantino’s latest production, should be released this week Below a few pics from Inglourious Basterds:
Still no official release date for The Road, a post-apocalyptic movie directed by John Hillcoat and starring Viggo Mortensen and Kodi Smit-McPhee: damn, we are so many to long for this film! At least we got four new pics of the Road to mitigate the pain of our wait:
The Road is based on a book of the same name written by Cormac McCarthy. The story revolves around a father and his son who walk alone through burned America in a quest for a safe harbor.
