Ron Perlman is co-starring with Nicolas Cage in Season of the Witch, an upcoming fantasy drama movie directed by Dominic Sena. Here below a new picture of Ron Perlman in the role of Felson:
I suppose Felson (Ron Perlman) is helping Knight Lavey (Nicolas Cage) to transport to destination the girl accused of being a witch. Hope to get more information about this Season of the Witch movie soon.

Roland Emmerich’s new disaster movie 2012 is pushed back from from July 10 to November 13. Sony distribution president Rory Bruer explains why the film is postponed:
“We’ve had such success with the James Bond films in November that we wanted a big tentpole film in that slot this year. We’ve got so many films in the summer that this is the perfect answer to that.”
Sony distribution president Rory Bruer
It will give you time to look for 2012 on Google if you didn’t have time to do it yet!

Stargate Atlantis is over (still a few movies before its ultimate end though) but a new series based on the Stargate franchise is being developed. The new show, called Stargate Universe, will start to air on the Sci Fi Channel in Summer 2009. Brad Wright and Robert C. Cooper will serve as executive producers and writers.
Stargate Universe is about a rather heteroclite team of soldiers and scientist who get trapped aboard the Ancient ship, the Destiny, that was part of an Ancient experiment to seed the galaxies with Stargates millions of years ago but that was prematurely ended by the Ancients’ ascension.
While trying to escape an imminent danger the team activates the ninth and final gate chevron (whose purpose was previously unknown) and get aboard the Destiny. But that’s a one-way trip, without return to Earth… Unable to return to Earth, they must fend for themselves aboard the ship as it takes them to the far reaches of the universe.
The show will involve more space-based action than SG-1 or Atlantis and we will discover more aliens this time.
Impatient to watch this new series Stargate Universe: I’m fan of SGU even before it’s out!
;-P
Ninja Assassin was produced by Joel Silver and the Wachowski brothers. It was entirely filmed in Germany (probably to benefit from local subsides: making a movie like Ninja Assassin cost indeed a lot of money, so filmmakers try to get state financial support when available).
You may have recognized Berlin’s Victory column at the beginning of this Ninja Assassin preview: that’s where Obama gave a speech during his European tour before being elected!
Extensive reshoot being done for Wolverine is causing a stir online. I won’t develop here: I think it is a pointless controversy, yep much ado about nothing… I bet that actually most people will enjoy this Wolverine movie at the end and I’m confident that Hugh Jackman will be right eventually when he says:
” […] Please rest assured that WOLVERINE will be badass and hopefully meet all of your expectations. […] “
Director Michael Rymer is said to be working on a live-action movie adaptation of Witchblade, a comic book created by Top Cow editors Marc Silvestri and David Wohl. Scriptwriter Everett De Roche is tackling the screenplay. No cast has been announced yet.
Witchblade is about a woman superhero whose powers come from the Witchblade a supernatural, sentient artifact with immense destructive and protective powers. The vigilante struggles to hone the awesome powers of the Witchblade and fend off those with a nefarious interest in it, especially entrepreneur Kenneth Irons. She also struggles to maintain a personal life.
Well it boils down to a female version of the Green Lantern!

The famous sci-fi Japanese animated series Cowboy Bebop is going to be adapted into a movie by Fox: scriptwriter Peter Craig is already assigned to write the screenplay and Keanu Reeves has been confirmed in the lead role as Spike Spiegel the bounty hunter.
I was a fan of the animated series, it was a combination of everything one may needs: science fiction, action and pretty girls, and last but not least an incredible soundtrack that was totally jazz oriented! So I am glad to hear about a live action movie but I’m not sure that 20th Century Fox is the best choice for tackling the movie adaptation of this manga: hell, they just destroyed a gold opportunity with their ugly take on the Dragonball movie… But let’s try to be optimistic for Cowboy Beebop. Besides there is a real reason for keeping hope: Director Shinichiro Watanabe and writter Keiko Nobumoto from the original Cowboy Bebop series by Sunrise will be closely involved with the development of Fox’s live-action adaptation.
Below the opening of the original Cowboy Bebop series:
Plot:
“Mankind is now able to travel through the Solar system thanks to astral gates. But this technology came with a price: in the year 2021 AD, the first time it was tested a cataclysmic accident happened that caused 4 billions people to be wiped out and force the survivors to scatter though the system because Earth was under a heavy rain of meteors remnants of a blasted Moon
Fifty years later the Solar system is well under colonization with new nations rising from the ashes. But criminals have now a edge over local police services because astral gates make it easy to escape out of reach at the other end of the Solar system. So bounty hunter is a hot job again in 2071!
The crew of the spaceship Bebop are a partnership of “cowboys” (originally Spike & Jet) who travel the solar system trying to apprehend bounties.”
Keanu reeves is a good actor for sure. But such a project would rely a lot on CGI: I worry that Fox isn’t ready to foot the bill of a real marvelous adaptation: besides the current recession, other movie projects like Wolverine 2 may limit Fox’s financial support for the film…
I realy hope they will keep the original soundtrack: it would be blasphemous to do otherwise! No release date yet for this Cowboy Bebop movie, after all it is at such an early stage. But I’d think it may come to theaters in 2011 if lucky.
:)
Real sets and accessories have been crafted for the movie Moon: the result is quite realistic! Nice sets, a tricky twisted plot and a talented lead actor: Moon is going to be a great science-fiction movie!

Comments Off on Transformers 2 Pretender Isabel lucas
Pretenders hiding in a human-shaped shell may get introduced in Transformers 2. Isabel Lucas, who plays a cute girl who befriends Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf), was seen in a scene that gives ground to this hypothesis:
According to the rumor Alice would have an arm that transforms into an energy weapon, a long tongue, and a scanning tentacle.
The first Pretenders show up as a subline within the Transformers toy line: Pretenders were capable of disguising their robotic forms through the use of synthetic organic outer shells.
