The movie Cadillac Records revolves around the rise of Chess Record, the influential Chicago-based R&B record label Chess Records: it is a tale of sex, violence, race and rock and roll in 1950’s Chicago. Cadillac Records follows the exciting but turbulent lives of some of America’s musical legends!
The premise of Cadillac Records is appealing, sure the plot is interesting, but what really catches my attention in this movie is Beyonce Knowles!

As you may know Terrence Howard get kicked out of the cast of Iron Man 2, Don Cheadle taking over his role as Jim Rhodes aka War Machine. The guy has been fired because he was probably too greedy when bargaining his new contract with Marvel. When asked about his misfortune during an interview on NPR he expressed his sorrow:

In the role of Chun Li: Kristin Kreuk who was in the permanent cast of Smallville till recently! At first I was a bit worried to hear this: are they going to make a “smallvillesque” version of Street Fighter? But Director Steven E. de Souza who was in charge of the original 1994 Street Fighter movie said that Street Fighter The Legend of Chun Li should be better. So we may hope a great flick!

Looks like the next Pirates of The Caribbean movie will recenter on Jack Sparrow, the famous facetious character played by Johnny Depp. At least that’s what Director Gore Verbinski, who was in charge of the previous movies, hinted at.

There were rumors about Johnny Depp asking for quite a lot of money to make Pirates of The Carribean 4. They’ve been denied since, but I still believe that there is some truth in those rumors: Walt Disney Pictures may try to bargain but at the end, if they want this film to be a success, they can’t take the risk to loose Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow.
So Johnny Depp is in a position to reap millions with Pirates of The Caribbean 4!

Maybe a Romulan vessel, with Eric Bana as Nero in command, goes back into the past to get rid of Kirk (Chris Pine) before he becomes the Captain of the starship USS Enterprise… Will have to wait till may 2009 to see Star Trek in theaters, but fortunately, there will be at least a Star Trek trailer in front of Quantum of Solace.

Among the pictures an early look at the cover of the next Entertainment Weekly magazine which will feature Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto who play respectively Jame T. Kirk and the Vulcan Spock. Both are a bit effeminate on this picture: they are not as manly as the original actors William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy… But shall make do with them!

The movie Twilight, adapted from Stephenie Meyer’s novel of the same name, is not yet out in theaters that Summit Entertainment, the production company behind the Twilight movie, is anticipating a sequel according to Deadline Hollywood Daily (here)! We may suppose that this Twilight movie sequel would follow New Moon the second book of the Twilight series. Check the second book at:

I bet most Twilighters are glad to hear about this sequel.
The expectations will be as high as for the first movie: better for Summit Entertainment to deliver something fans may like otherwise Twilight fans will bear an eternal grudge against the production company… But I think Stephenie Meyer will oversee any sequel and is a guaranty of Twilightesque quality!
