According to The Live Feed fans of Lost we be able to enjoy Lost Season 5 premiere on Wednesday, January 21, 2009. The first episode of Lost Season 5 should be a two-hour premiere.
It just confirms the date for the premiere of Lost Season 5 announced in the trailer aired during the last election-night coverage. In case you missed this new Lost Season 5 trailer:
In 2009 we will have 17 episodes of Lost Season 5 with the strangest plot ever seen on TV.
If you can’t wait for this new season try to guess what will happen in by looking at the episode guide of the fifth season of Lost, they are a bit spoiler though…

A second movie trailer of Up has been released by Disney Pixar. Up is an upcoming animated movie by Pixar which for once will mostly focus on real humans, namely Carl Fredricksen, an old widow, and Carl, a young chubby boy.

I don’t really like to see a fatty boy described as a hero in the movie… Hey, our youth needs real models! Being overweight like Carl at such a young age can but have a terrific impact on health later… Too often parents let kids eat what they want. So if movies are showing fatty heroes by now, where are we going?!
Anyway, I bet the Diney Pixar magic will be as efficient as usual, and that most people will appreciate Up, the latest Pixar movie, in 2009.

Overall the movie seems well done and really entertaining both for children and grown ups.
The movie reminds of bedtime stories from childhood, you know, those stories taken from mysterious illustrated books that your dad or your mom used to read to help you sleep.
I’ll feel some nostalgia for sure when I’ll bring my kids to see the Tale of Despereaux.

A new Thai trailer has been released for Tony Jaa’s Ong Bak 2. It is rather violent and bloody, no doubt it would be a red band trailer in the USA.

Despite its title this new Ong Bak film is no sequel to the first movie. Anyway, looks entertaining. A nice cocktail of fantasy and martial arts, besides with some humor: that’s Ong Bak 2!
The movie will be released on December 4th, 2008 in Thailand. Unfortunately there is no official release date confirmed yet for North America. Hope the Weinstein Company who bought the US distribution rights, will put Ong Bak 2 in theaters asap!

The Reader, directed by Stephen Daldry, is based a bestseller German novel (Der Vorleser, The Reader) written by by Bernhard Schlink. It is about a a young man’s decades-long obsession with an older woman.

I just spotted a Twilight clip that’s been out since three month already. Can’t believe I did not catch this scene before! It is a really romantic scene between Edward and Bella. I think this scene takes place just after the Twilight clip shown at the Rome Film Festival:
Bella (Kristen Stewart) does not know to dance, but she shouldn’t worry: with someone like Edward (Robert Pattinson) to guide her it will be like a dream!

A remake of the South Korean horror movie A Tale of Two Sister has been under works in Hollywood. It should be released on January 30, 2009 and is titled The Uninvited.
