That night, Anna is visited by the ghost of her mother, who warns her of Rachael’s intentions. – Arielle Kebbel as Alex Rydell
– Elizabeth Banks as Rachael Somers (Stepmother)

The Uninvited could be just one more remake of an Asian horror movie, but those girls are cute and I can but feel compelled to care for what happen to them in the Uninvited movie.

Transformers Revenge of the Fallen

No need to worry for Sam (Shia Labeouf) who is in the car in the clip above: he was able to get rid of the sticky Transformer robot, but the Windshield has been damaged for good:

Do you you think that Sam Witwicky’s car insurance will cover this unexpected damage? Those decepticons are so careless!

Coraline Koumpounophobia

Neil Gaiman's CoralineA promotional clip has been released for Coraline, the upcoming movie adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s book. The writer is helping to the promotion of the movie. In the clip below he dwells on Koumpounophobia, the phobia of buttons:

Neil Gaiman Coraline

“I often think that the greatest of human inventions is the humble button.”

Neil Gaiman

The story of Coraline is about a young girl who finds a secret door and discovers an alternate version of her life on the other side. On the surface, this parallel reality is eerily similar to her real life and the people in it – only much better although they’ve got buttons instead of eyes… But when this seemingly perfect world turns dangerous, and her other parents (including her Other Mother voiced by Teri Hatcher) try to trap her forever, Coraline must count on her resourcefulness, determination and bravery to escape this increasingly perilous world – and save her family.

Roland Emmerich 2012 Pushed Back

2012Roland Emmerich’s new disaster movie 2012 is pushed back from from July 10 to November 13. Sony distribution president Rory Bruer explains why the film is postponed:

2012 Trailer

Rory Bruer - Head of Sony Distribution

“We’ve had such success with the James Bond films in November that we wanted a big tentpole film in that slot this year. We’ve got so many films in the summer that this is the perfect answer to that.”

Sony distribution president Rory Bruer

It will give you time to look for 2012 on Google if you didn’t have time to do it yet!

Push Telekinetic Fight

PushA telekinetic fight, with fighters able to use their mind to move and throw stuff around, should be really nasty. But in the movie Push fighters aren’t that wicked… This second clip of Push just show one more tame fight between Chris Evans and Neil Jackson who are both movers:

Push Movie

Well fortunately telekinesy is just a fantasy because I’m sure that some wicked minds would be much more efficient in using such an ability to harm others than they do in the movie…

Push will be released on February 6, 2009.

Stargate Universe SciFi Channel

STARGATE UNIVERSEStargate Atlantis is over (still a few movies before its ultimate end though) but a new series based on the Stargate franchise is being developed. The new show, called Stargate Universe, will start to air on the Sci Fi Channel in Summer 2009. Brad Wright and Robert C. Cooper will serve as executive producers and writers.

Stargate Universe The New Stargate TV Show

Stargate Universe is about a rather heteroclite team of soldiers and scientist who get trapped aboard the Ancient ship, the Destiny, that was part of an Ancient experiment to seed the galaxies with Stargates millions of years ago but that was prematurely ended by the Ancients’ ascension.

While trying to escape an imminent danger the team activates the ninth and final gate chevron (whose purpose was previously unknown) and get aboard the Destiny. But that’s a one-way trip, without return to Earth… Unable to return to Earth, they must fend for themselves aboard the ship as it takes them to the far reaches of the universe.

The show will involve more space-based action than SG-1 or Atlantis and we will discover more aliens this time.

Impatient to watch this new series Stargate Universe: I’m fan of SGU even before it’s out!
