Have you ever heard about vegetarian dogs? Well, some crazy pet owners do torture their dogs by feeding them only with vegetables… Like Emily (Rosario Dawson) does in Seven Pounds, an upcoming drama movie directed by Gabriele Muccino and starring Will Smith as the lead character. Let’s watch this Seven Pounds clip: Continue reading »

Little Ashes is upcoming movie starring Robert Pattinson as Dali. It dwells on the special relationship the surrealist Painter had with some of his close male friends.
Below the first Little Ashes trailer:
LITTLE ASHES
Salvador Dali (Robert Pattinson)
Frederico Garcia Lorca (Javier Beltran)
Luis Bunuel (Matthew McNulty)
No Rules, No Regrets, No Return
This movie was probably filmed before or in parallel to Twilight. I hope Robert Pattinson will never get cold feet because of his new twilitesque success and that he will still dare to nicely surprise with movies such as Little Ashes.

Will Smith comfirmed to Collider (here) that a prequel to I Am Legend is being considered:
I Am Legend was a great and complete movie by its own. I don’t think that a sequel to I Am Legend would do good… People would go see the movie sequel, no doubt, but they would most likely come disappointed from it because it would never fit with the vision they may have built of what may have happened before I Am Legend…

The best thing in the world should fall free from the sky, shouldn’t they? Like gumballs (or money?) for example! Have a look to this international poster of Bedtime Stories, upcoming comedy starring the funny Adam Sandler:

Dentists around the world would get filthy rich if it was raining gumballs for real!

Pro-Life activists are going to really enjoy The Curious Case of benjamin Button, David Fincher’s latest movie. I didn’t think the movie could be somehow pro life until I saw those two new Benjamin Button clips:
Doctor: Queenie, some creatures aren’t meant to survive…
Queenie (Taraji P. Henson): You are still a child of God!
Actually the term pro-life is overreaching here, so hopefully both Pro Choice and Pro Life may enjoy The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

An official picture of Nicolas Cage in the movie Season of The Witch, upcoming medieval fantasy drama directed by Dominic Sena, has been unveiled:

I wonder where Nicolas Cage learn to ride. Do you think he will do himself all the horse stunts for the movie Season of The Witch?

A first preview clip of The Tale of Desperaux has shown up:
Despereaux tries to tell Chef Andre about the Princess’ capture.
I think the marketing team behind Th Tale of Despereaux did not select the right clip to promote the film. Moment, a rodent in a kitchen in a CGI animated movie, does not ring a bell for you? Yeap, Ratatouille! But the two movies can’t really compare… The Tale of Despereaux is maybe an entertaining movie, but it hardly brings anything new… Besides Despereaux isn’t a kitchen mouse: so why did they select this particular clip for promoting the Tale of Despereaux?

Renee Zellweger is starring in New In Town, an upcoming romantic comedy movie:

NEW IN TOWN
Renée Zellweger
She’s an executive on the move.
But her career is taking her a little farther than she expected.
In New Town Renee Zellweger plays the role of a corporate dominatrix who learns to appreciate the charm of the little country town (New Ulm, Minnesota according to the plot, but the movie was actually filmed in Canada… Patriotism is not that strong anymore Hollywood, but has it ever really been strong?) she just moved in and “surprisingly” falls in love with the local stallion who’s the stereotype of a countrified man.

Knowing is one more tale of the end of the world. The science-fiction film, directed by Alex Proyas, is starring Nicolas Cage as a professor trying to prevent the mysterious prophecy encrypted in the content of a time capsule coming from his son’s elementary school:

The movie Knowing shall be released in March 2009.

Even if the critics bashed Will Smith’s Hancock I did appreciate the movie, and I’m not alone: box office earnings at $228 million are a proof. So I am very glad to hear via Joblo that Will Smith is considering a sequel to Hancock.
Will Smith precises his interest in Hancock 2 saying that “there were a lot of unexplored characters in the HANCOCK universe that would be ripe for a sequel”. And I can but agree: we don’t really know where those God-like heroes come from. There is still room for developing a new story around Hancock.
More at: Hancock 2 Trailer
But the movie Hancock 2 is not for tomorrow: Will Smith recognizes that a few years should elapse before the release of Hancok 2.
I’ll be there for Hancock II!

Fox has been facing the uproar of disappointed Dragonball fans regarding its upcoming movie adaptation of the famous manga. Reshoot are under works, and now it may also have been decided to change the title of the movie. Initially simply titled the movie is said to be retitled Dragonball Evolution according to Coming Soon.
Such a move would not be pointless: hardcore Dragonball may forgive the liberal and unholy take on the manga if it is marketed as a reimagining and not as a real adaptation of Dragonball like previously done.
